Greenfield Puppies

Me and my wife, we decided to get a dog of our own. After enquiring about the new puppy’s price, we came to know that we couldn’t afford them. So, we decided to go for a dog left by the first owner. Figuring out that which is the best firm that offers excellent service in getting us second home puppies was very difficult because almost every firm that provides a service of offering new puppies, offers this service too. So, deciding on the list is very difficult. We opted for Greenfield Puppies because they are near to us. And they have a wider range of offers than others. We went and talked with the representative about our trouble in buying a new puppy. To our shock, the representative said that budget was no problem at all and that we should think to have to buy a dog never being pet before if we wished to. We discussed and were firm at buying a second home dog with a “health guarantee.” They agreed and they also promised to us, on request of my wife that they will make us meet the former owner of that dog. So we paid $300 in advance. We were told that we would get back to us within a week’s time and that was fine with us.

A week passed by and before it was about to get complete, I called up to ask the representative about what time were we suppose to meet the next day! At first, he didn’t recognize me and then when I called again, he apologized saying that he had a lot of customers with the same name as I did so he failed to recognize me. Anyways, after that incident he said, he still needed some time because the owner of that dog was out of town. However, he said we could take the dog if we needed and whenever he was back he would handover to us the health guarantee as well as make us meet the owner. We were fine with this, though we asked were the other party fine with it or not? They said the other party and them were fine with it. So we got things done. One month passed this incident and we got no feedback at all from them.

My wife started to worry and think logically about this scenario. We wanted to ensure that we’ve had a safe deal as per our imagination and didn’t want anyone to point us. So we went to Greenfield puppies ourselves in the name of buying some food for the dog. We were shocked to see that the representative had been changed and the previous one was no longer working with Greenfield. We straightaway went to the manager and described him every story again. He said that they at Greenfield never promised their customers to make them meet with the other party, ever. So at first, he denied us the meeting and also because it was a second home dog he said he’d have to look into the matter of handing us over the health guarantee because they at Greenfield ensure that the health guarantee is given to the customer with the dog itself.

And it was shocking to him that we hadn’t got the health guarantee even after a month of our purchase. He asked for the bill, some numbers, which we provided. He said he would get back after talking with his regional head in a day or two, via email. So we waited for two more days and there was no response from him. On the 5th day, he replies with the same thing that it was harder for him to imagine someone buying a dog from their store without health guarantee and that we needed to mail them a written application about the complete scenario and that would be sent to the regional head, who would, after reading our plea, decide what should be done. We gave the written application and in the meantime, my wife called up the representative and tried to enquire about the matter. We were shocked by what we were told by the representative. He still worked with Greenfield but was currently sent to a different location. Just because they knew that he had promised us and they had made him tell everything that he told us. Anyways, in the meantime, we waited to get a reply from the “regional manager.” Meanwhile, the dog had seemingly caught some sort of a disease and we got him checked by a local vet. And spend some $100 for the treatment. This is the least that we wished to do. If we had had a budget of $400 then, we would have bought a dog instead of $400. Why would we’ve opted for a grown-up dog, instead of a puppy? And that too, without a health guarantee! Jeez! Thanks to Greenfield Puppies for all this confusion.

After spending all these frustrating time alone, I and my wife went to Greenfield Puppies to ask the manager about what the truth was! And were we going to get any guarantee or not and whether meeting the owner would ever be possible? The manager said that the health guarantee wouldn’t be possible. However, he said that meeting the owners would be possible and he took us to meet someone. Whenever we asked some questions about the dog, they always fumbled to answer. They didn’t look like the real owners of the dog. To one of the questions which is so common i.e. which dog food did they prefer? They didn’t manage us to show us the brand. This was horrible! We were denied two things that were promised to us by Greenfield Puppies. We want compensation for this and if need be we would head to court for this. Greenfield’s manager, their representative all are scammers and liars. As soon as you give your money to them, they fly away with it. Leaving you, with a bad dog in your hand. They give you no health guarantee and their product is also a failure! Beware of these liars and scammers. They scammed us of $400.
