After failing to complete a number of projects, and constant arguing with the board, we made a move to end our contract. Not only did Marsha take payment directly out of our accounts before relinquishing control – that we specifically told her not to – she also refused to perform services for the period of time for which she took payment.
Once she found out we no longer wished to work with her, she acted vindictively, and made getting the proper paperwork and documents from her very difficult.
If you decide to work with Marsha, tread cautiously. She’s a shark, and when she’s on your side, that can be a good thing, but it can be terrible when she’s not.
Keep good records of everything, and if you have a way, have her send a copy of every file and piece of paperwork she touches. You may not get the records later on.
