Glo Medspa

Verbal abuse and Rude

Glo Medspa has been a nightmare since I had my social security number with them. I am trying to get my medical records “my right,” and I was sent an extraordinary form.

I was advised not to fill out that form, even wanted my ss# and related to alcohol on it??!! My legal consultant said they have dealt with medical release forms, and this was not what I should sign and read the small print at the bottom.

I have questioned Charles’s attitude toward me because instead of dealing with the issue at hand, he criticizes and then says he will block you from his email. If you bring up his past problems with licensing, you will be blocked.

I went to a different Med Spa to get botox, and they asked me how I had heard of them. A friend recommended me because I had a bad experience with another place.

I said I didn’t want to get into details because I did not want to look like a person that rips on businesses. They said, “Oh, was it GloMed”? My jaw hit the floor. I was shocked they asked me that. And at that point, I knew something was not right. I was told, wait, he will treat you like you did something wrong and then block you.

He will insult you or act like he does not know you. Part of that had already happened to me. I had not written a review, but after he blocked me yesterday for questioning him again, here is my review!

I think a business owner should “own” their mistakes and refund a client’s money if the service that was paid for was not performed correctly. I would, and I had refunded a client’s money and made the service correct when I owned a salon for over 25 years.

I spent a lot of money on the ultrasound machine that was supposed to break down your fat. Charles then claimed the device was not working correctly, and I should have seen results. He was given a new device and offered me three new sessions with the new device (which I thought was a good business move)

then after one session, I got an email that he took the liberty to cancel my other two sessions because he said his employee said I was complaining about all the extra time I had to spend there getting it re-done?

Then when I questioned him on that because I adored his employee and could not see her saying anything like that, he referred to my eating and drinking habits. What? Does that even make sense?

Which was why the ultrasound was not working. That was the final insult. I am not a big girl. I don’t have eating and drinking issues, and I have stubborn areas that I wanted to be zapped.

I then had a legal consultation, and I will see Charles in small claims court to get my money refunded. He told me the machine was not working correctly, and I should have seen results. And even if I had complained about my time, what does he care. No one should be treated this way in any business.

BTW….he then sent me an email saying he had diagnostics done on the old machine and it was working correctly all along…..hmm……which one is it? The machine? My mystery complaining? My eating and drinking? Because I would like my 3000 back!

*************UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM CHARLES*********************

Verbal abuse? I think you are confusing rude with stating the facts. I was not rude to you. Commenting on a public review site about giving me free services solidified that you again do not think your service that I paid a large amount of money for had results.

So telling me, I was rude will not change the fact that I still have the emails from you telling me why you canceled my appointments. I am not sure I have ever been called rude in my life.

In my review, I thought your employee was adorable, and we got along fabulously. I am not sure when it went from point A to point B with you as the business owner.

Meghan is a fabulous aesthetician, and if I was so rude, why did she ask me to come in and be her model? I even sent her a text saying I no longer feel comfortable coming in after this scenario.

So if you offered me free services, why would you do that if you thought your machine was working correctly? I also recall asking your employee, “wow, because of this machine not working correctly, how many people do you have to re-do?”

Her answer was, “oh, we are only re-doing a few” What about all the other people that spent money on this service with a broken machine? Do they know it was broken?

Why did you come to me and ask me to talk to you and show you my treated areas? Then said they were not any different? Verbal abuse and Rude

  1. Very impressed

I had some services performed at Glo Medspa by Charles. The reason I love Charles is that he doesn’t try and sell you more than you need. He actually told me a few different treatments that would really help me even though they are not ones that are offered at his med spa. He is so good that you need to book at least 3-4 months out. Not sure about these negative reviews, because his waiting room is always packed.

  2. Scam

DO NOT COME HERE. The one review saying Charles is the most honest person in the aesthetic industry is a joke. Nursing licenses are public information. Do your research. There is a reason his license is revoked in Illinois, California, AND not a single Arizona hospital will ever hire him again with his background.

Why do you think he opened his own business? Do a simple google search and read his reviews. Plenty of people hasn’t come forward on things he has done to them. I wish AZ were more strict on their licensing. Very scary. He was diagnosed with adult anti-social behavior- that is, a sociopath.

    1. great experience

I am so glad I waited the 5 months to get into see Charles. He is booked out a crazy long time, but totally worth the wait. He is super honest and his prices are much cheaper than most other places. I am not sure about the other reviews, but my experience was great. The other reviews that speak negative about him are far from the truth. He is the only one I trust.

  3. Megan is Crazy

Charles is the most honest person in the aesthetic industry, and I have never had any issues or heard of any in the past five years I have been going to him. Megan, how would Charles get your BFs telephone number? Are you off your medication?

    You are insane.

  4. RUDE AND ABUSIVE

CHARLES, the owner himself, sent my BF a text message saying that I have a “horse face,” along with a whole bunch of other insults.

Charles does not like to be confronted or questioned, especially concerning his problems in the past with; licensing issues, DUI, and domestic abuse/order of protection convictions (look it all up for yourself, the guy is a complete douche!)

I have ZERO affiliation with ANY other business, only passing along my own very truthful experiences that I’ve had with Charles.

  5. best medspa

Not sure about the crazies who left the negative reviews, but this place is the best in all of Scottsdale. I think the negative reviews must have been from competitors.

  6. Good Service Provide.

I had a very pleasant and relaxing experience with this spa.

  7. I highly recommend him to anyone getting injectables!

I’ve had Charles do my Botox twice. He did a great job. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions before we got started. I have been getting Botox done for over 5 years and Charles is my new guy, I can’t even think about going anywhere else! I highly recommend him to anyone getting injectables!

  8. Verbal abuse.

  9. Glo Medspa Bad Service.

I wish I had done my research before going to Glo Medspa or letting Charles Small inject me. My lips looked awful, and during the treatment, I was uncomfortable, and it wasn’t from the pain.

I had to go somewhere else to fix them because he wouldn’t do it. I googled Charles and found public information about his Nursing license that I wish I had known about before going there!!

I am shocked Glo Medspa has five stars as my experience was not ideal at all. . See for yourself, again all public information:

    1. WONERFUL

I’ve been going to see Charles for three years now what a wonderful person everybody is phenomenal in the place whoever the crazies are that are complaining and they go searching for anything to complain about because they want their money back that’s all this is about money money money disgusting
