Wast of time and money

Long story short, don’t go to this store unless you are seeing Dr. Elana Abilevitz or Dr. Yang who everyone else is seeing. I don’t know them, but they have good reviews….

The doctor I saw was a white old man. He wrote so many numbers on my paper by hand; he and the shop staff ended up ordering wrong sample contact lenses, and they even forgot which one they gave to me. I wasted so much time by going to this place and had to go to see another doctor.

I had couple of more problems with this doctor at French Optical Fashion.

1. He touched my eyes with his equipment TWICE. Of course I told him about it, but he didn’t care.
2. He touched my mouth by his hand when he was looking into my eyes closely. It was so disgusting!!!!!
3. I told him that I have dry eyes, but he recommended monthly lenses. The second doctor I saw was surprised about this.

4. My vision was not consistent after getting sample lenses that he recommended, but he said that it is because my eyes are dry and told me to use eye drops. However, the prescription was actually wrong. My second doctor was also surprised when I showed him the number that the first doctor gave me.As a conclusion, do not go to this store if you don’t want to waste your time and money.

  1. I'm so glad that I went here!!!

    My best friend Melody told me about this place and honestly I took her opinion blindly and decided to make an appointment. I showed up a bit early for my appointment and they totally went out of their way to squeeze me in.
    From the moment I walked in the door they were nothing but fun, nice, and helpful.. I loved it!!!

    I also have to say that the actual eye exam totally overshot all my expectations and sandards that I had been hearing about this place. Their prices were reasonable and right on point with other competitors. I’m so glad that I went here!!!

    I called this place and the price charge is not $40, it is standard like every other place.

    All the reviews on these pages are written by the store not by actual customers.

  4. I had a bad experience at the store.

    I had a bad experience at the store. I went there with a friend and he was looking to order glasses. The staff took forever to get him in for the exam and then did not explain the prices clearly.

    We heard different prices for the same type of lenses from two different staff members. It seems like there is some shady scheme going on in there. I would not recommend going to this place.

  5. Lenscrafters however was polite and helpful.

    My glasses needed adjustment so I went in to get them fixed and asked what they would charge. $10 I was told which was fine. Then when I answered that I did not purchase the glasses there originally they refused to adjust them, screamed at me and followed me outside yelling. Lenscrafters however was polite and helpful.

  6. French Optical Bad Service.

    Take care with this place. I have ordered glasses and a few days later the lens begun to crack, due to the abuse of tension applied on the framing process. As I do live out of USA there was minor options to make the change in person.

    Finally I have sent the glasses and the shop refused to reimburse the money or to exchange the lens. As the time has passed a lot, my grade changed and there was no deal to upgrade the lens considering the bad job provided on the original lens.
