Was quoted an amount and the total job ended up being $1200 more than the original estimate for the same time frame of 3 days work but less work actually done on my checklist. I had contacted Fred through their website. By the end of the day I was contacted via phone by Dreshell. He was informative and explained the contract which sounded reasonable at the time. Three days worth of work done at an hourly rate by one of their contractors, Jeff. He also explained that if needed, a 4th day can be put on hold to get the leftover items completed. He provided a quote and then scheduled a day that worked. I then provided a $100 deposit. On the first day, Jeff came to evaluate the amount of work to get done. Once he realized the workload, he called in a second person, Carl, to help. Carl ended up working all three days while Jeff worked two. The quality of the work was good, however, by the end of day 3 there were still much work to get done leaving behind many items on my checklist. Having the contractors come out on the 4th day was not possible. Jeff already scheduled vacation and was not able to continue the work. In addition I had already explained that I was not able to take additional leave. Little did I know this was a blessing in disguise. On the end of day 3, I was given the final price to pay and it was a whopping $1200 more than expected. I already understood that there would be a variance in price. I figured a couple hundred difference. But for there to be a $1200 difference baffled me. And just to think, the price difference would have been much more for 4 days of work! After expressing my concern, I was told that the contract was Time and Materials and that I was paying per person, per hour in addition to the materials they had to purchase. This was something i was not aware of. Mind you, they already had the tools needed to do the work and I had purchased the materials. If they purchased anything it was no more than $100! Complete mind blowing moment. I then asked for an invoice with an itemized list of materials purchased. Jeff hesitated to show me on his iPad when an error message appeared on the screen. Because of this I was not able to sign the invoice. After making the payment, I then tried contacting Dreshell who did not pick up his phone. How convenient! I am currently in the process of trying to gain a better explanation for the variance. In conclusion, although they did good work, unless you have extra money to spend, I would not recommend This company. An initial estimate/quote is provided so that you can compare pricing to companies. To be $1200 off just does not make sense! If I would have known, I would have gone with another company that was more cost efficient. In addition the details of the contract was not explained neither provided to me for me to be aware that there could be such a cost difference from the original quote. I won’t be using them again.

Update: I received the invoice but it miraculously has a signature on it approving the transaction when I never signed the invoice. They forged my signature! Because of this I would discredit this company. They are NOT trustworthy! Their score goes down from 2 stars to 1! Don’t be the next victim!
