Fred Loya Insurance

What a joke

I honesty don’t even know how Fred Loya Insurance is in business. Their client was speeding down my residential road one morning and was being followed by a motorcycle cop.

She ended up taking the turn of the circle to fast (50-60mph) and lost control.

Her truck hit my parked car, it went through our front fence and hit our big pine tree in the front yard.

My car finally got towed 4 days later (a total loss). Here we are a week later and no progress.

They refuse to visit their client in jail (even though they confirmed they do dispatch people to the jail to collect statements) because she carried liability only.

I was also told that because I wasn’t hurt there is no reason I can’t get to and from work and child care.

Another representative told me that my family can just give me a ride (they live out of state).

Another representative told me that I need to figure it out, that it’s my problem.

Apparently there is some rule that if they don’t get a statement from their client within 40 days, on the 41st day the policy is cancelled

They won’t pay a dime for the accident that their client caused while they were insured!!

Is this even legal!? Seems negligent to me. I was told that I had to prove this even happened, collect all the evidence and send it to them so they can investigate.

I am disgusted with this company and how they do business and treat people.

I’m surprised the Division of Insurance hasn’t shut them down.

That is my next step, I’ll be filing a formal complaint with DORA and other necessary actions so innocent people aren’t screwed over.

Sounds like this is how they do business based on the other complaints on here. What a joke.

  1. Scammer

I currently don’t have insurance, but am looking to get re-instated by Fred Loya. My problem is that each time I was insured by them, I specifically stated (after setting up automatic payments) that my premium was to be paid on the first of each month.

Since I’m on a fixed income, that timeframe is perfect for me. For the time I had it, the premiums would always be withdrawn on the 25-27 of each month when no money was available. SO, for the last time, I will try again to reinstate my policy, again autopay, and again on the first ONLY!. If it doesn’t work this time, I’m leaving, never to return. And, for the record, I am a 70% disabled vet needing transportation and insurance

  2. Don't waste your time or money, you will be out of luck

Don’t waste your time or money, you will be out of luck. They wrote us a useless check to the finance company when we filed a claim for an accident. They did NOT write it to the auto shop and we now can NOT GET OUR CAR FIXED.

This is full coverage on a new vehicle and they’ve also requested that used parts from Rio Grande and A1 salvage be used on our car. Like most people we need our car to get back and forth. We will not have it for a VERY long time thanks to Fred Loya Insurance. Want more info? Reach me at picassoshart at gmail dot com.

  3. do not use this insurance company!!

i payed $313.00 for full coverage and liability, they made me cancel my current policy and they had to prorate the cancelled policy for a total of $67.00. so that is a grand total of $380.00.

i only had this new policy for 1 day, which is only $11.00, but with $25.00 application fee, $75.00 policy fee, $8.50 service charge. they only want to refund me $257.50!!! feel sooo ripped offf!!!!

  4. They are no help whether you are at fault or if it is another person's fault.

I recently got rear ended and the Adjuster’s response was that I was on my own and that I had to call the other person’s insurance company. Not once did my Fred Loya Adjuster ask me if I was okay nor did they ask if anyone was hurt. She just started barking what they needed document wise, police reports, statements, etc and to call her once this was all taken care of.

  5. By far the worse insurance company that I have ever dealt with.

By far the worse insurance company that I have ever dealt with. I was hit by one of Loya’s insured. It took nearly 3 weeks to get my rental car authorization.

I was lied to and told a check was sent out for the estimated repairs and it wasn’t. It took another 13 days to completed 4 days worth of repairs due to the adjuster not returning the body shop’s calls.

Then to add insult to injury, I was charged over $300 for the rental car extension. Lastly, I still have not received a call pertaining to the diminished value that was requested. I was told I would receive a call within 24 – 48 hours….it has now been 5 days.

  6. I have all the prove, but now they leave me no choice but to hire a lawyer...

I had my vehicle stolen from me, I purchase my vehicle in since then, I had Fred Loya full coverage insurance. Well in June as of last year it was stolen from me from a mechanic. I made a claim with Fred Loya and with all my documents stating that the car was still mine, they were still taking out payments from my bank account, as well I was still making payments on my vehicle.

I had just received my title to my vehicle in January of this year and I have police reports for the vehicle reported stolen and title foraged that’s the reason they do not want to pay out my claim because they said that my title is no good because it has a new owner new title when it was all foraged.

Isn’t this the reason you have car insurance so they can help you in your time of need. I have all the prove, but now they leave me no choice but to hire a lawyer…

  7. Terrible service

Terrible service – 45 minutes to report the claim against their insured that rear-ended my car. 15 minute phone delay any time you call them. Inefficient all around.

  8. This is the worse company ever!!

This is the worse company ever!!! Please please don’t get this company I was too dumb to fall for this “affordable” insurance company. This Has been the biggest nightmare of my life.

They are so unprofessional, corrupted, rude and have no knowledge of what they do. Please you might think you’re saving but once something happens you won’t be cover or attended in any way. This insurance company takes advantage of Hispanics who don’t understand much.

  9. Horrible customer service.

    Horrible customer service. Had to get paperwork for my new insurance agent. Talked to these bums 3 times and each time told me they would fax it right away. never happened;

called again talked to yet another csr , a rude girl and she claimed there were no notes or records of any of these past conversations. mmmmm. suppose to have Gabby the manager call me. not holding my breath. what a bunch of keystone cops.

  10. FRED LOYA INSURANCE IS BY FAR THE WORST!!!

FRED LOYA INSURANCE IS BY FAR THE WORST!!! I have never dealt with a company that operates without any integrity, knowledge, or expertise such as Fred Loya in the Denver region! The way they lure customers in is by offering lower rates than most others.

I have personally went to 3 different locations- Stapleton, Green Valley and Brighton and unfortunately you have to deal with some just over 18 employee that worries more about their appearance than how to deal with customers and actually know their job! At the Green Valley location I witnessed two ’employees’ arguing loudly at one another as I was walking in- and as soon as they seen me they thought it was ok to proceed with the fight by speaking in Spanish! Classy right?!

And when you call the local offices for assistance they ALWAYS give different information than the customer service in Texas. Instead of paying some has been boxer to appear in those ridiculous commercials perhaps they should spend that $$$ on teaching their ‘agents’ customer service and insurance knowledge. Adios Fred Loya I am taking my business elsewhere.

  11. This business is so unprofessional!

This business is so unprofessional! The bitches that work there are the rudest people I have ever encountered. Not only are they worried about JUST running your card, but they have no respect what so ever. I definitely would never recommend this office personal! I am aggravated, unfortunately I did not catch this representatives name. Therefore we will get to the bottom of this.

  12. Currently dealing with one of their clients WHO HIT MY CAR.

Currently dealing with one of their clients WHO HIT MY CAR. The Loya adjuster called to get a statement from me, and I was absolutely interrogated as if I was at fault. So rude! Luckily my insurance carrier is professional, and believes in good customer service. The payment for my loss is on the way. Hopefully my carrier will be reimbursed.

If my losses were greater or if I had gotten hurt, I would take Loya and their insured to small claims. Instead of trying to avoid paying this claim, and believing their insured’s lie that he didn’t do it. Provide good customer service, and hold your insured accountable as necessary. I would NEVER INTENTIONALLY do business with this company, and hope to never be in another car accident with any of their clients.

  13. Kept my mom on the line for 6 weeks without even assigning someone to her case.

Kept my mom on the line for 6 weeks without even assigning someone to her case. This company does not care about the customers, they do not care about claims of others against their customers.

Do yourself a favor and get a different insurance provider and, if you happen to get in an accident with someone covered by them, pray to what ever god you believe in that they will be competent enough to help you.

  14. Bad Service

If I didn’t have to give at least 1 star I wouldn’t. I honesty don’t even know how this company is in business. Their client was speeding down my residential road one morning and was being followed by a motorcycle cop,

she ended up taking the turn of the circle to fast (50-60mph) and lost control. Her truck hit my parked car, it went through our front fence and hit our big pine tree in the front yard. My car finally got towed 4 days later (a total loss). Here we are a week later and no progress.

  15. The people in the offices are the worst!

The people in the offices are the worst! Tell you they can cover you full coverage over the phone but when you go in, all of a sudden they can’t. Attitudes galore and little knowledge of what they are doing. Good luck getting any help when they make a mistake..

one rep told my lienholder my car was never covered even as I and the lienholder were looking at my policy card, clearly showing the car was indeed covered! Pay the extra $30 somewhere else and save yourself the headache!
