The Worst Bank

I have an auto loan through FirstMerit Bank and I’m not happy with their service at all. Here are just a few complaints:

1) They have never sent me a proper bill. The first letter I got just said, “Send X amount to this address by the 27th” in the upper right corner.

There was no perforated area to tear off and send in like any other normal bill.

2) The last letter I got said I owed nearly $200 more than I actually owe and it was dated 2 weeks after my last payment was processed.

3) Their online system is difficult to use. I don’t even think there is an online option to pay.

4) The worst- I’ve called multiple times this week to ask very simple questions and they have not been able to answer them.

They are NOT helpful. I don’t even know of a branch I can go into and talk to someone.

It’s the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with in my life.

I will be happy when my loan is done and I will never bank with them again.

If my loan was any longer I would transfer to another bank.
