First National Funding
Lack Of ProfessionalismI am in Los Angeles looking to lease an apartment. I found one ideally where I’d like to be located in Studio City.
There was no advertisement any where on the complex.
After having stumbled onto a tenant by chance I asked and was furnished with the number to the leasing agency.
I left a message on the voice service and emailed. Despite quick response time, I was stood up for an appointment after I had changed my schedule to fit that of an agent.
When I called after being stood up, she remarks she will be there in 10mins.
Again I was left waiting. I call again to to inquire as to why the blatant lack of professionalism and customer service and express that I am looking to lease and a property.
The agent asks me for proof of employment to view the unit. I own several rental properties in New Orleans Louisiana and find it completely absurd that I would be screened to VIEW a property!
After roughly an hour, the agent finally ensures me that no one would be coming to show me the property today.
I did not explode in anger despite having been completely thrown off my schedule waiting for an hour or two.
The agent also couldn’t give me adequate information about the company. I asked for her superiors name she only gives me only the first name.
I am in disbelief at the lack of knowledge an agent of the company has and even more flabbergasted at having to show proof of employment to simply view the unit; Especially after I had given the agent the name and website of my rental company in New Orleans.
I am extremely annoyed and would suggest anyone looking to rent in Los Angeles not give their business to this company.
If I went through this as a potential leasee (new/more business/money), I’m afraid of what would happen to a tenant with any problem in a unit.
I have never witnessed such terrible business acumen. I hope First National Funding can gain a bit of professionalism.
ANYTHING but rent from them.
Slum lords of the highest order. Interested only in money. They rent to the dregs of society…parolees, sex offenders, drug addicts. I understand desperation but live in your car, live under an overpass, get a gym membership so you can at least shower, ANYTHING but rent from them.
