I am not a pleased with a phone call I had with First Hawaiian Bank – Waikiki customer service. Let’s just say I wanted to speak to a supervisor.

The employee stated, “My supervisor will call you!” I would encourage people to do business with other banks.

I would like to have this issue resolved. I will not be referring any family, friends, or acquaintances to this business.

  1. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS!!!

    Absolute WORST banking experience EVER!! MILITARY, especially, BEWARE!! Totally FREE checking is NOT free if you want to use online banking (bill pay). Additionally, they deduct the money from your account as you make a payment (not when the payment is received).

    something I’ve never seen before!!! After having NEVER had a fee in banking (USAA, 53rd) we ended up with $$ hundreds of fees – all justified because it’s in their small print!!

    We are military AND local, long time Hawaii residents, moved back and husband was a Lt. Col at Hickam. Tried the “local bank” and have since had to file a complaint against them with the State of Hawaii, Division of Financial Institutions. AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS!!!
