I was introduced to first financial security by my cousin. He took me in a seminar in which I had 1000 more heads like me. We were introduced to the firm and its fake happy faces.
I was impressed and my cousin forced me to participate in it. I told him, I would think and say. I generally do my own research before spending a penny. I started speaking to various people who were members of FFS. I’ve also searched for first financial security online reviews and about lawsuit if any.
I also went to their website to see what they had to say. I got to know that they charged $125 for a sign-up. People whom I spoke with, were all currently a part of First Financial Security. Somewhere at the back of my mind, I felt I had a bunch of people telling me the same thing and I need to go in a little bit more depth to know more truth.
I paid 125 USD and started to make a list of dollars that I am spending before getting the license. Firstly, when I did pay 125 USD, it was just for becoming a member of FFS. The membership letter was given to me one week later after the date of my payment. After that, I called them up informing how I haven’t yet received my license.
This is when they started showing their true colors. They informed me how this was just a membership fee and had nothing to do with license. So, I asked the person on call about the procedure to get license. He informed me how I had lot more to be spent in terms of money. I had to start with paying 150 USD for my own life insurance and then for each test I would be asked to pay a fixed amount. There is also a listing available on internet about how state by state the application fees vary.
According to me these details should be shown on their website, which they aren’t. Going into detailed researching revealed other facts which I am writing for the readers so they can learn. In seminars, they proudly say we are targeting an audience of 1000, but from that only 10 are the new ones, rest all are existing members of FFS.
Also, I had a talk with few other members who were fed up with the organization and weren’t working with FFS, though they did pay dollars. They enlightened me about how this was all like a chained scam ran by FFS.
One of the guy told me statistically how members were fooled and only some amount which was negligible, was paid to us unless we get to a level. The number of members that we got would determine our share and they would get the most from that share. They were the big players and the novice was just paid for the formality.
FFS is all about money and not services at all. It cannot be termed as a professional financial service providing firm because, they make people addicted to themselves and a point comes when members starts to lie as they do. They are just equivocating firm, like an advertising firm or a politician. They say it is just 125 USD but then it comes somewhere around 1000. I want people to take their call before try to opt for this firm.
