Faye Dibachi

If I had listened to her I would not have my current home

Faye worked with us for 5 or 6 offers that although were not winners were at times competive and other times not, although Faye encouraged us to always make an offer. That is until our final offer, for a place where our large down payment would make us very competitve, due to the seller financing. Even though she was involved in this property before, knew the selling agent (another Zephyr agent),

and had previously encouraged us to make offers (some she knew were not even close), she strongly discouraged us from making an offer, unless were willing to bid 50K over asking. I did not think the comps, the sale price of that unit only 3 years prior, and the price index for that neighborhood required such a drastic overbid. She was adamant about it and had basically refused to do it for us.

The only way we got the bid in was to yell and scold her over the phone, to the point that she handed us off to another broker who ended up reaping the benefits of our, what turned out to be, successful offer (which we negotiated down after the fact too!).I originally posted this a week ago and after scores of conversations with her, where Faye tried to get me to remove any negative post, through various explanations, pleas and offers,

what she never did offer was a decent explanation why she fought tooth and nail to her own detriment against our eventually winning offer. I have suggested she was attempting to bid up the price (to our detriment but always to the benefit of the realtors, be they buyer or seller), was displaying incompetence in this instance, was tired of my wife and me and our value oriented nature, or so arrogant to think she knew better.

If I had listened to her I would not have my current home or it would have cost 45K more than we got it for and that is the truth.

would not be available but offered to refer me to another agent.

I let her know that I was looking for an agent to help me find a property for purchase. She initially responded to me promptly and with such enthusiasm.

However, after I provided her with the details of what I was looking for, she immediately changed her tone and mentioned that she would not be available but offered to refer me to another agent.

and I would not choose any other agent in San Francisco. With the advance of technology, it may appear ‘simple’ to buy and sell homes these days, but it takes an experienced and dedicated agent to drive each transaction through the finish line, and ensure the client gets the proper support. Faye is that agent!

In addition, through her many years of experience, she has built a large network of professionals like loan agents, contractors, inspectors and more that she can use to speed up and smoothen the transaction.

But most importantly, she is simply kind and treats people well.

Faye is a genuinely nice human being.

Faye is a genuinely nice human being. A realtor is someone who, even just for a short period, is a person in your life who knows your business, your finances, your future plans. So I think you want to choose a realtor who’s a real, legitimate person,

willing to understand and respect your choices, needs, hopes, and limits, and isn’t just checking the boxes trying to get you into a sale. Faye is a real person and she worked with us as real people, which was important to me, because buying a house is such a vulnerable place to be in, especially in the competitive SF market.

    I highly recommend Faye.

Faye is a fantastic realtor. She helped me buy my first apartment and I am sure that I couldn’t have found a better professional to help me. She was knowledgeable, helpful, very hard-working, and supportive of my needs. I highly recommend Faye.

  5. Kate

    She is a miracle worker.

Faye was absolutely the best. Hands down. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the market, very trustworthy and really looks out for her clients. She went way above and beyond as both an agent and adviser and helped me find the perfect place, never letting me settle and always keeping my best interests in mind.
