Contract for installing flat roof TPO membrane and railing, new flashing, pipe collars, painting, replacing attic fan was terminated after 6 months of delays, miscommunications and finally non-compliance.
Flat roof had to be patched less than two months following installment due to grading issues. Installer patched it with wrong color. Had to convince him to cover areas with same color, so he used tape instead of the same membrane color which he didn’t have. Contrary to initial assurances, was informed subsequent to installation that manufacturer of the TPO membrane does not warrant residential installations.
Railing showed up for installation with the wrong color even after months’ long discussions on importance of matching the color of the railing with house external paint. Company was willing to paint the railing but did not/could not spray paint them in their shop. Nor was there assurance that the paint on the external railing would withstand weather conditions. Had to cancel payment for railing which prompted company to break the contract.
Electric attic fan was not installed by a professional electrician.
Enhanced Roofing sales reps write short contracts leaving out critical details that they subsequently agree to verbally or in emails. When confronted with the discrepancies they plead miscommunications. This might explain the firing of two sales reps during the six month period of our contract. In summary, very disappointed and a waste of time.
