Drivers-licenses.org

drivers-licenses.org is not a legit website

I have encountered so many scams but this company is the master of all. The site is a fraud and tries to mislead you in believing in something that they do not offer. I find myself so stupid that I did not understand their trap until I entered my credit card details.

I submitted my credit card information to change my address on the Drivers-licenses.org. However, I received a bogus guide on driving instead. I never wanted that guide and all I needed was an address change.

Next thing I did was, I called the customer service people to get a refund. I called the number stated on their website and had to try that number a lot of time to get in touch with someone. My failed attempts were counted as the days I was not trying to get the refund as their policy states that the refund needs to be initiated within a given time period.

When I reached them, they tried to divert my call from department to department to make sure I am out of the refund policy time. However, I was stringent at getting my money back. At last, I was able to get a refund and convince them that my order was completely different from what I received.

I would like to advice to cancel the card once you get the refund. It was shady to see the confirmation email that they sent for refund. It was mentioned in the bold letters that there was no reason to call the bank unnecessarily as they had already completed your request. I have never seen such email ever in my life with any refund that was done for an online payment.

I believe that it becomes even more important to check the bank details after you get the refund and cancelling the card should be the foremost important step to make sure they do not use the detail to haunt you later.

When I tried to find the details of that company on the internet, I was surprised to see the reviews which talked about their misleading presence on the internet. It is believed that soon they would be shut down for scamming people with pretence.

Their site itself speaks about their misleading advertising. Being a privately held company, their domain is .org which is sufficiently enough to mislead people. Please beware of this fraud. They do not offer any services that associates with driving license. All they do is sell their useless guides and scam people with their false advertising.

Even after numerous complaints, they have changed nothing on their website to increase awareness of the services and products they offer. This itself is a big red flag. This company has nothing to do with government organization. It is fake.

  1. THIS IS A SCAM.

THIS IS A SCAM. If you are trying to change your DMV driver’s license address, this website is NOT the place to do it. I caught their charges of $3.99 and $19.99 immediately and called the credit card company to dispute the charges and close my account. I apparently was billed for a driver’s license guide. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM.

  2. Drivers-licenses.org offers a Drivers License Guide™, which is a state and service-specific eBook that provides all the important information regarding your state DMV. Within the guide you’ll find the pre-filled specific DMV forms, links and instructions for services that can be performed online, via mail, via phone and/or in person at the DMV. 3. scam

They advertise as a drivers license replacement agency, but all they do is steal your info and charge your card over $20.. You will receive a useless digital guide in return…

  4. DriverServices.org Biggest scam site ever

The site tours itself as a non-profit organization that is set up to help you get your drivers license. They have effectively bought the right ads to divert your attention and, most likely, purchase. Even for seasoned .Com people the site seems legit.

    Don’t go to that site.

  5. Scam want money back

They jipped me for $3.99 it’s a scam I want my money back

  6. They Got Me Too!

They totally got me! I thought I had renewed my license and went on a trip across the US to find that I couldn’t rent a car, because I was driving with an expired license! I thought I had renewed it, but nope. This scam looks totally legitimate but it’s not! Watch out!! They are putting people at risk pulling this! People are driving on expired licenses thinking a new one is coming in the mail.

I got a call from my CC company that they suspected there was fraud at work here. I double checked and sure enough they were right! I had waited 2 weeks for my license to show up in the mail and it never did. Why? Because these guys posed as the State to renew my license.

These guys are good! Don’t get hit like me! I had to report this as fraud and reverse the charges. This really sucks because this means they had to kill my CC too. So now I don’t have my license or a CC. Good stuff!

  7. Scam

Total scam. Stay away. Called the bank to report them. This isn’t to get your drivers license. Complete scam!!!!!!! Crooks!!!!!

  8. Total scam. Unfortunately you will find out to late. NOT affiliated with driver's license renewal. They sell gas cards!

This a misleading and total scam to sign you up for coupons and other junk mail. ZERO affiliation with your state licensing bureau. Unfortunately you wont find out until they continue charging your card.

  9. Driverlicenseonline.org totally misleading scam

I googled Michigan Secretary of State online and hit a link that was for getting your driver’s license online information and was directed to a form regarding you personal info. When I completed the forms, it sent me a form thanking me for purchasing their guide book, $3.99 nonrefundable processing fee and approx. $23 pending charge. I called right away, got through immediately and the guy tried to convince me to download it NOW. I was firm that I didn’t want it, it was a scam and very misleading. The tried offering $100 grocery credit/coupons, $25 gas rebate, whatever. Finally told me I’d get my refund in 7-10 days. We’ll see…..totally bogus website!!!!!

    1. Michael McGinnis

I had the same experience in Georgia as Nancy Minui. When I declined all of their offers she said she was processing my refund right then. She said she emailed me a receipt and read off my email address to make sure it was correct. Then she said she also sent a text to my phone, again checking to see if she had the correct number. Later she asked me to check my email and texts to see if I had received anything. She sounded surprised when I told her nothing came. So she gave me a transaction number as my receipt, saying that the text and email should arrive momentarily. Hours later and still nothing.

So now I assume the whole processing of the refund was a part of the rehearsed banter and that nothing was done. I am not going to wait 10-14 days as requested but talk to my bank tomorrow.

Another thing is that when you are “renewing” your license they say it is faster to process a debit card: if you don’t want a delay in your order you should use a debit card instead of a credit card. The state of Georgia has never been sophisticated enough to actually handle credit card transactions themselves. In the past they have had to use an outside vendor that charges $3 or $4 dollars to use a credit card. So it made sense they asked for a debit card.

  10. Turning in to the Texas Attny General

This popped up ON my Texas Renewal Drivers License renewal form. I searched on http://www.dp.texas.gov and THIS popped up saying: Do you want to renew your Driver’s License? I have never fallen for this crap; but in case you do; forward this site to the attorney general in your state. My bank card was immediately cancelled and the charges disputed.

How much do YOU hate these scammers who get better at it every day.

  11. Drivers licenses.org is a scam

I thought this was Texas drivers lives address change was in a hurry. But then I was charged three depressed charges on my debit card. Filed complaint with my bank and BBB

  12. TOTALLY A SCAM

Don’t be tricked. I think if I wasn’t on my phone I wouldn’t have fallen for their little scam. I should have been tipped off when they preferred a debit card instead of a credit card. I stopped my card and got my money back. BEWARE

  13. Scam

On December 5, 2018 I went to the TXDPS website to renew my drivers license, which expires January 2019. I somehow was linked to driverslicenseonline.org to provide all required information and pay for a new driver’s license to sent to my home.
Well, today is is February 15, 2019 and still no driver’s license. I called TXDPS customer service and waited 49 minutes to speak with someone.

In the meantime I checked my bank statement online and found the charges for my online renewal, however instead of one charge there were three charges from driverslicensesonline.org. The first charge on December 6 was for $1, second charge on December 6 was for $3.00 and the third charge was made on December 10 for 19.99. I thought three separate charges was a little odd, however they added up to the required online renewal requirement of $24.

Once I was connected with a TXDPS representative, I explained that I had not received my driver’s license to date and that I show on my bank statement three charges eg $1, $3, and $19.99. I was then informed that TXDPS had no record of me renewing online. I was also informed that TXDPS would only make one charge for renewing my drivers license, not three and it best to contact my bank to reverse the charges.

I then looked up driverslicenseonline.org and started seeing scam and fraud information and that my renewal efforts in fact caught up within an online scam. How disappointing and so I am now writing this review to warn others on this scam!!
