Short man Syndrome/God complex is all I need to say about Dr. Thomas Haddad.
He did a good job at pointing out my problem, which is why I was there in the first place!
Dr. Thomas Haddad did absolutely nothing about my case, except finger my hole, and then refer me to another GI doctor whom he said wouldn’t cure me of my issue, and that maybe I could prove him wrong if he did.
I’m a patient human being ,and I work in the medical field.
I know for a fact what I wanted done has been done, and even if there was complications to at least be sympathetic towards the issue itself, and to not make me feel like a freak show with no hope.
I understand you may think you don’t treat a lot of gay people as you said, but your in f**king San Francisco.
I went to you after reading good reviews from two other men, and because you were voted best GI doctor by your peers in Marin county, and it didn’t hurt that I worked around the corner from your office too…. Major Bullshit!
It was such a terrible waste of time for both parties, and I wish you could have just given my co-pay back, the time I took off work to see you, and to rid this memory forever.
Dr. Haddad’s follow-up letter to my primary was even said to be adolescent and weirdly documented from the office staff.
How new to this profession is he? Maybe Dr. Haddad doesn’t like gay people? Maybe it was me? Maybe he just sucks as a doctor? Regardless he signed up for this shit, and I mean that literally G.I. Joe specialist.
Please be more sympathetic to your patients and don’t rush them.
There’s no reason for you to be an asshole to anyone who supports your lackluster practice, that’s your job to treat them.

Never Again
I met him for a short ‘how to prepare’ meeting the Friday beforehand and was very impressed by his, well, bedside manner and common sense approach. He told me how important it was to get the prep right, but also said a glass of wine wasn’t prohibited (‘it’s a clear liquid’). That helped! If you have to have the procedure…..he made it as pleasant and painless as possible.
