I Feel In A Rude Way

I visited him as part of the Medical One Group. I asked Dr. Scott Tercero questions and asked for ways to cut my costs for allergy medications.

He prescribed me brand ones and I asked if he could get me generic ones or explain why I would need the brand ones.

I feel like he started being passive aggressive.

I don’t know how even though I emailed and called to get generic prescriptions, I ended up picking a brand prescription when I went back to the office thinking I would pick up generic prescriptions.

I feel like he did that on purpose because I feel I was very clear I wanted generic ones.

He even asked (I feel in a rude way) if it is to his understanding that I can’t afford brands ones.

Thinking that it was a rude attempt to shame me for not wanting brand ones and that such stupid comments didn’t even bother me in high school, I said flatly “yes.”

So yeah, I don’t think I could be more clear.

And yet, I still got a brand prescription! Did he understand his understanding?

I don’t get why this situation became a battle but it is what it is now.
