I have been a patient for several years without issue. Recently my insurance changed and I didn’t realize they were out of network.
Rather than tell me this at check in and give me the option of canceling they proceeded with the appointment.
I find that incredibly underhanded and deceptive.
Now I’m stuck with a $200 bill and when I sent a payment they sent it back because they no longer take checks.
So my options are send cash to an office that has already proven to me they are completely dishonest or send them my credit card number for all of the staff to have access to.
Or go there in person and pay which is out of my way. Terribly shady business practices as far as I’m concerned.
