Dr. Moen John

I’ve never been too impressed with Dr. Moen John’s bedside manner but I’ve gone to him for three years because he’s efficient and thorough.

I just had an awful experience though and I want to make people aware.

A late bus caused me to walk into an appointment 8 minutes late and I was turned away upon arrival.

I went out of my way to continue seeing Dr. Moen after leaving my job in downtown Seattle.

Then I stood in the cold when I wasn’t feeling well for 20 minutes waiting for a late bus to see him.

Even after I explained these circumstances to the receptionist and told her that if they couldn’t find a way to squeeze me in that I’d be finding another doctor, they still turned me away.

Also, the receptionist kept disappearing while she was checking me in without ever telling me what was going on. I thought this was unprofessional as well.

I don’t know if this is common practice these days but it surely seems unreasonable to me.

I’ll be finding a new doctor and making sure that my new primary care provider isn’t in a Swedish Medical Center. They’ve lost a patient for life.
