Dr. Miguel Delgado

Wast Of Time And Money

I went in for a consultation with Dr. Miguel Delgado, and got turned away for revision eye lift surgery.

I appreciated his concerns and comments, and he pointed out the problem with multiple revisions can lead to scaring, which doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure, but I wanted him to talk in depth about the potential risks and such, but instead he proceeded to point out that “my impatience” is part of the problem after telling him I’ve been frustrated for months trying to get my eyes evened out.

Then I told him how plastic surgeons have different opinions from his, before I went in for my consultation I did research and made some phone calls, then Dr. Delgado proceeded to say that Doctors are always going to have differences of opinion.

But there’s got to be common grounds in between differences of opinions, otherwise, what’s the point of it being a profession.

Before the so-called consultation ended, he told me to wait about 4 to 5 months and to “calm my temper.”

Like, who the **** are you? All he did was made some points and I invalidated his points with my points, waste of time and money.

Don’t consult, unless you want to talk to an idiot.

  1. He also has a great charisma so he can relate probably with anyone and make everyone feel welcome.

I had a procedure done by him 3 years ago and everything was perfect.
3 years after, came in to get his opinion on something… he answered all my questions and adressed all my concerns!

Everything was in great timely manner, didnt have to wait in the office longer than my actual appointment time! He also has a great charisma so he can relate probably with anyone and make everyone feel welcome.

  2. I did not want an obvious "done" look and Dr. Delgado gave me exactly what I asked for.

After several years of contemplation and several months of pursuing this website, I decided to take the plunge and have a facelift. I interviewed 2 doctors, and while I liked both of them, Dr. Delgado’s extensive experience, glowing reviews, and very natural-looking and impressive photos made the decision an easy one.

His coordinators and nurses are very pleasant and easy to work with and Dr Delgado is a really kind and caring man. I am now 8 months post-surgery and I am extremely happy with the results. I look much younger and prettier but extremely natural-looking. I did not want an obvious “done” look and Dr. Delgado gave me exactly what I asked for.

  3. He throughly listened to all my concerns and expectations.

Choosing to have a cosmetic procedure is already a tough choice but to choose your surgeon is an even tougher choice. From consult to postop Dr. Delgado and his team were beyond stellar! He throughly listened to all my concerns and expectations.

What I envisioned was delivered due to his experience and skill! I will forever be grateful he took me as a patient since I am a type 1 diabetic. If you are looking for cosmetic surgeon do yourself a favor and schedule a consult with Dr. Delgado, you will not be disappointed!

  4. I continue to be very happy with his work.

Dr. Delgado performed a face/neck lift for me and did a wonderful job. At 58 years old, I just wanted a little sprucing up and asked for subtle changes. He gave me exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased with the results.

The information packet provided regarding post surgery was very thorough and left no questions unanswered. It’s been 6 months now and I continue to be very happy with his work.

  5. Scammer

The bus fair from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, and a portion of the hotel cost were covered by the doctor, which was nice of him. (Note: For any consequent secondary surgery(ies), you pay these cost 100%).
*I really liked the breakfast in the hotel, sp the waffle.

*The office/surgery room is located in a nice building across a hospital.
*It was nice that I was given the option to choose a song to listen to when I was in the pre-operation room which calmed me down – I chose classical.

  7. I cried as I relayed my awful experience to Dr. Delgado.

I remember he was pretty late arriving surgery day looking tired, and was talking to the anesthesiologist about wine he had consumed the night before. To top it off, I found out later a female staff member whom I’ll describe next, was allowed to watch my surgery.

Sorry, but I felt violated. This staff member that was gathering the financial info pre-surgery, was probably the rudest most demeaning woman I’ve ever had to deal with in a medical office. She kept rushing me about payment, belittled me in an elevator, and when I forgot some paper work, wow! Talk about a witch…I was so shaken-up, during the next visit,

I cried as I relayed my awful experience to Dr. Delgado. He just shook his head up and down as if to agree with me, but nothing was done except she was sickly sweet during my next visit. People, proceed at your own risk!

  8. Sorry, but I felt violated.

I really don’t know where to start…it’s been about five years since my facelift, but I was perusing these reviews and realized my negative experience is still fresh in my mind.

I came to Dr. Delgado with extreme enthusiasm from reading all his favorable reviews as well as pictures of his work on prior patients. But I agree with one of the other reviewers that Dr. Delgado probably paid for the 5 star reviews. Kind of suspicious that there are all these 5 Star reviews and three or four one stars.

A 20% improvement following surgery, and $20,000+ down the drain. And after 18 mos, I couldn’t tell at all I had surgery. So depressing.
