Dr. Michael Kulick

Terrible Experiences

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Michael Kulick. I have scars on my lips and I sent him several pictures via email but he forced me to come by saying that he has to examine my scars.

When I came all the way to SF he even didn’t bother to examine the scars, just look at me and told that there are no treatments he can offer or suggest to me and took $100 for consultation…He was very cold hearted, careless, rude, sarcastic and didn’t let me to say or explain anything.

It looks like he is in desperate need of money nowadays and he forced me to come just to charge the consultation fee.

He knew he couldn’t help me from the beginning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME by going to this person.

I wish I would read reviews earlier as well. He cares only about money and he doesn’t care about us!

  1. He is the only one I would recommend.

Dr. Kulick is an amazing clinician. I flew 3000 miles to see him and may results were better than I could have imagined. It’s been years now and the results are still as good as day 1.

He is well known to be a very highly skilled doctor as well as a caring and concerned person. I sent my son 3000 miles to see him and he did what the East coast experts said couldn’t be done. He is the only one I would recommend.

  2. He would tell me detail instructions and explanations each time to calm me down.

Dr. Kulick was extremely patient with me. It took a long process to know exactly what i wanted. We went through lots of sessions. He asked me to find different pictures of peoples faces that i like and don’t like.

My surgery had to be postponed due to MRSA infection on my chin. My family doc thought it was a spider bite. After i have mentioned to Dr. Kulick, he insisted on seeing me first. He literally saved my life. He switched me to a different type of antibiotic.

After the surgery i was extremely nervous during my recovery. Dr. Kulick always responded to my after hour phone calls right away. He would tell me detail instructions and explanations each time to calm me down.

  3. Would definitely recommend

I was referred to a Dr. Kulick by an urgent care facility – my second visit in as many weeks. He relayed his theory of what he thought might be wrong with my hand, explained in detail the treatment process and what I could expect. My hand and my life are both back to normal! Would definitely recommend

  4. Do not see this person.

I ran across old Worker’s Comp papers this week and there it was: Kulick’s misdiagnosis. Misdiagnosis is too weak a term for my experience with him. He was the “insurance company doctor”- and that he was, to a T.

We all like to think the ‘First, do no harm’ oath has meaning and that who we entrust with our health will hold that sacred. Not this person. When I relayed what transpired during my thankfully brief visit with this person to my primary wrist doctor, he was not at all surprised. After that, I complained to the Medical Board.

Luckily, unlike the other poster with the permanent facial scars, I did not allow Kulick to touch me. But like her, I do know karma rebounds. I hope others will come forward and write their encounters with him here.

It is now about 15 years after my injury, I’m back in physical therapy for the umteenth time, and live with daily pain and major curtailment of daily activities. Kulick’s “report” re my wrists did not jive with Dr. Markison’s (top SFO surgeon) nor 2 other doctors I saw.

  5. Apparently being contracted and accepting are 2 different things.

Con Artist. This man is a liar and cheap money hungry thief. I don’t believe he is board certified. He only operates for money and pretends he knows what he is talking about.

He doesn’t even know how to read an Xray. He tells me and im sure everyone else, that “he accepts” my insurance and then says its not up to him to know the deductible. Apparently being contracted and accepting are 2 different things.

  6. I have never met anyone this arrogant, rude, and dismissive!

I have never met anyone this arrogant, rude, and dismissive! I went for my hand. He didn’t want to explain things when I asked questions. When he did answer my questions, they were one sentence answers and were contradictory.

  7. Im not upset that he messed up

Im not upset that he messed up. I am upset that he lied to me about it and said it was normal to have me keep coming back. He said he would give me my money back in the beginning if I was not happy with the result. Of course, that has not and will not happen.

He treated areas that I did not consent to and ruined my skin that was perfectly fine before. I ended up being permanently scarred, and suffered painful burns on my breast for a month because I trusted him and his credibility.

He was very rude to me when I asked any questions on what he was using on me or his methods of what he was trying to do. He would not speak a word. He refused to tell me he was using IPL, an intensive procedure, and lead me to believe it was a laser, which was what I wanted done in the first place.

He did not tell me this was an intensive procedure, or why he was treating areas of my skin that was fine before. Why would such a small scar require such an intensive procedure? He did not even say that during the consultation or during my appointments.

I went to other specialists, and dermatologists in the field, who have advised me to not come back. Furthermore, there is nothing I can do now to improve my new scars Dr.Kulick has so lovingly given me.
