Customer ServiceI wish I could give a review based the care I received by Dr. Melissa Adrouny, but I unfortunately, never had the opportunity to utilize her services.
I chose this office based on the reviews I read, so I feel obligated to leave a review based on my experience.
About a month ago, I contacted the office to be seen as a new patient.
I was given information on how to complete my patient profile and necessary documentation before my first visit that was scheduled –at the earliest available time– almost 3 weeks out.
I took the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and seamless visit; first, by filling out the forms, then by showing up at least 10 minutes early.
I was also notified by phone and twice by email about my upcoming appointment at 9:00 am.
With so much preparation and notifications ensuring that I arrive to my visit on time, I expected to be seen… on time.
When I arrived to the office, I was given the opportunity to use the restroom, which I happily accepted.
I was then told to meet my nurse/medical assistant in the first exam room when I got back.
I did so, but I waited in the exam room for 10 minutes before I was told my the same nurse that my room was being switched and to go back out to the waiting room while my new room was ready. My new room was ready in another 20 minutes.
Now finally in my room, I was asked to disrobe, change into my gown and wait for my doctor to arrive. Well, that was another 15 minutes, and I was no longer willing to wait.
I left the office around 9:50 am without being seen. And although I received a phone call on my way out of the office letting me know that I could reschedule a visit that would be accommodating to my schedule, I declined.
I never felt like I was made a priority, which is very important to me as a patient.
I unfortunately, will be seeking healthcare elsewhere.
