Dr. Lee Ann Roberts

Customer Service

Dr. Roberts was my first gyno. I had no clue what was happening and while it was also my first pap smear I didn’t know what to expect.

There was no help with talking me through what was happening and or why.

When I got a call back saying my pap came back abnormal I was balancing crying babies and had no clue what it meant.

I called back a few hours when I was baby free to get them to explain to me why I was coming back, what a colonoscopy was, and what I needed to do.

When I went back again, nothing was explained to me about any of the procedures.

I had little knowledge about HPV due to a good friend of mine being bed ridden with the gardasil vaccine so all I knew was my google answers about HPV, so no information for me from a Dr. was really hard.

When she called back with my results she didn’t explain the infection, didn’t help walk me through the steps and didn’t ask if I had any questions.

I went to my primary doctor to get more info and will not go back to Dr. Roberts.

All in all, if you want something super fast and not friendly this is your place, otherwise look elsewhere.

  4. Now that I'm over the shock of the experience I'm looking for a new gynecologist.

I switched to Dr. Roberts over a year ago because I wanted to try to find a female doctor that was compassionate and easy to talk to. Dr. Roberts was NOT that person. My routine exam was rushed and slightly uncomfortable. I was due to have my Mirena IUD replaced and agreed to let them order it. A few weeks later, I went back to have my IUD replaced.

I was horrified as she ripped the old IUD out of me and quickly inserted the new one (as if she was ripping off a bandaid.) This is my 3rd IUD and I have never experienced that much pain when having it replaced. I was in shock and almost fainted from the pain.

Lest you think I’m a wimp about pain, I had both my children naturally without an epidural. Now that I’m over the shock of the experience I’m looking for a new gynecologist.
