Rotten incredibly bad place. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and I have experienced a lot of it.
First off I spoke to Dr. Kevin M Man by phone from a referral of a general doctor the great Dr. needs to screen the referrals.
He determined I needed an endoscopy and told me the surgery coordinator Ashley would call to schedule.
She never called, so multiple times I called finally getting her we are talking and she apparently cannot hear me I can hear her talking my phone is fine so she hangs up on me.
Now I am the customer TRYING to do busine$$ with her, wouldn’t common sense tell you as the business to attempt to call customer back? Yet I had to call princess back because of course she hangs up in mid call.
She then said she would mail the instructions guess what never mailed.
So I as the customer had to call and then go to the dr office and pick them up wasting my time and money!
And I had to do this because if you do not follow the instructions the day before they will cancel – and charge you!
Turns out there were 2 pages to instructions but as a never had this done before paying customer I had no knowledge of additional instructions.
And she scolds me when I call the day before to ask.
I also as stated had not had this done so had a few questions/ concerns too bad if she had to waste a whole 5 minutes answering.
She let me know it was such a burden – major attitude.
I was not aware until this call that I was to go to 3370 Geary I almost showed up at 450 Sutter. nothing like providing customer with all relevant information!
It was scheduled for 8:00am though I was first instructed to be there by 6:30am when speaking to them.
The day before I had the standard day before procedure reminder call left a phone message saying report at 7:00am.
So I call Golden Gate not the dr’s office so to avoid Ashley and was told 6:45am now given this is early in the morning time is important – my time especially since I had to get up at 3am to drink 3, 16 ounce cold glasses of water and nasty medicine.
So I show up as ordered then sit until 7:30AM, just waste my time.
Can you imagine if wa$ted their time? Even though instructions and over the phone was told must be there early because sedation takes over an hour.
Total lies does not take an hour to sedate. I get there and see it is like a cattle heard and that is how they treat us.
I get these extensive forms to sign about how I five up all rights and must pay for whatever they demand nothing like you ever get cost upfront as I knew going in but what was truly shocking is the financial interest.
The dr has a financial interest in Golden Gate and if I wanted I could arrange elsewhere.
Now they tell me this at 6:30am on day of appointment when it is too late to change venue? Seriously, conflict of intere$t maybe? Corrupt.
They also had to take a picture which I protested being yet again victim of personal data breach by Equifax.
It is required for insurance fraud and they secure it blah blah blah.
Really? Well they could see my face and driver license while standing in front of them so I was verified it is not needed for retention and as for encrypted and we take all precautions…. that was what The Boeing Company, Equifax, OPM, IRS Heartland Payment Systems and Target to name just a few larger organizations swore to as well!
And of course if stolen there are no consequences.
The great almighty Dr. Kevin Man arrogant as ever could not bother with me talks to me maybe 1 minute before procedure.
I am told he will speak to me after. As I come out of sedation I am told immediately to get my clothes on I tell them I do not feel well and it like the military standup put clothes on right now.
I ask what time is it? It is 9am! My ride that they insist I have by Commandant Ashley ordered be there at 9:30am.
They could not let me have a 5 minutes waking up from sedation for the money this is costing? How rude and unsafe.
One does not everyday wakeup from being drugged, unless you live in the Tenderloin.Of course no mention of Dr. stopping by.
Also there was no privacy as I put my clothes on this was facing counter in the recovery areas with several medical staff stationed and others going by totally degrading unprofessional and rude.
As I am changing Kevin The Man shows up and cannot be bothered with me for a mere 2 minutes.
He tells me nothing. He never bothered to ask where pain was beforehand never showed any interest in finding solution or treatment did not care I had pain then so it is just go through all this for nothing.
If the medical professional had skin in the game they might have to perform the job they are paid incredibly well to do!
So I am whisked out to waiting area and order to get up and sit in chair – it is 9:08am I sit there until 9:30am.
There was plenty of time to give me a whole 5 minutes before changing but I had a cattle prod named Nurse Ratchet in my back! There must be a better choice than here.
