My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer and her and our whole family’s life for the next year will be dictated by the results of her next biopsy.
We are desperately trying to schedule this biopsy and instead, Diane the receptionist keeps giving us excuses that Dr. K Min Yi is out of the office off to surgeries and doesn’t have two minutes to call to let us know whether or not they have submitted an authorization for the procedure.
We understand that there are other people out there needing emergent surgeries and their life depends on Dr. Yi but how much time does it really take to say yes or no?
Diane was rude, dismissive, and totally useless. Diane, you should be ashamed of yourself for calling yourself a medical professional.
Your inability to follow up with and at the very least acknowledge the distress our family is going through with this diagnosis is appalling to witness.
Dr. Yi, I recommend you consider hiring staff that will build up your practice rather than run it to the ground.
And please, two minutes of your time is all it takes, if anything, just relay the information to your receptionist of staff that you can or cannot make the call.
If you say you will call us, please stand by your words and make the call.
We will be seeking an alternate provider at this point.
