Dr. John Enayati

Dr. John Enayatiwas Absolutely Awful

My experience with Dr. John Enayatiwas absolutely awful. I would NEVER recommend someone go to this doctor.

I first scheduled an appointment with the Drs assistant to get a physical to get clearance for a surgery.

I had a great health insurance policy , which the office accepted, and Jason seemed nice enough and got the basic papers I needed filled out.

Prior to my major surgery I never met Dr Enayati, spoke to him on the phone, or received an email from him.

After going through a long operation, I was admitted to the hospital for two days and out of it with the meds they were giving me at the time.

The night of the surgery in the middle of my sleep I woke up to a man in my room.

He introduced himself as Dr Enayati (I didn’t put 2+2 together at the time and had no idea who he was.

There were a lot of nurses and hospital staff coming through the room).

He asked how I was doing, if I had been able to get up and walk and then he left. Didn’t check in incision, dressing, meds, vitals, or anything else.

I would implore Dr Enyatis office remove their reply. I had discussed this matter with you via email and phone and stand by my experience of what happened, and am allowed to share my experiences with others via.

After speaking with you on the phone the first time I Did alter the review to remove some inaccuracies.

The insurance has still not been resolved from your end as any-and-all bills from 2017 would have been fully covered by my policy, but furthermore your comment is a complete violation of the HIPAA patient privacy act.

I do not give you permission to post details of my medical history online, doctor.

  1. Never Again

Sadly it really has been turn off from the Town of L . A ..

  2. He completely refused that and was quite obnoxious.

If you don’t need much of a diagnostics – you could be ok, otherwise, I you will most likely waste your time with this doctor! Dr. Enayati did a standard blood test and one other test on me.

I asked him to do IGG and IGM also, he refused for no reason. Then I have ordered some tests on me, which gave some results and asked him to continue in that direction.

  3. I do agree he can be pleasant but a combination of a missed diagnosis short visits was the problem.

My Mother was seen for medical clearance for surgery by Dr. Enayati at the request of the Orthopedic Surgeons from Cedars. Initially
we had a good experience but while she was being followed up at Cedars by him we changed our minds.

The visits for short and cursory. On the weekends he was not around and his covering Doctors were in an even bigger hurry to get home. I am not sure how long the average visit needs to last in a hospital setting but we felt uneasy as on a few occasions there was no exam and more a just a conversation.

She eventually went home and 4 days later was diagnosed with blood clot in her leg which she likely had during her stay at the hospital before she was discharged. It should have been diagnosed before she was discharged and not by another Doctor we picked to follow up with when we left. I do agree he can be pleasant but a combination of a missed diagnosis short visits was the problem.

  4. Scammer

Prior to flying to the US for a cosmetic surgery Lisa Greene (Dr Paul Nassif’s customer care consultant) arranged an appointment with Dr Enayati so as to undergo medical testing with Dr Enayati, and she quoted me a total of $700 for the medical tests, and I had to accept that quote because surgery was immediate.

In my country (I was a turist/patient flying in for surgery) such medical tests are much cheaper. Very few days before departing from my country Lisa Greene told me which medical tests I required. Luckily in one day, before departing, I managed to finish the list (which is not a small list)of blood tests and HIV tests (in my country).

I did not do the tests again at Dr. Enayati so Dr.Enayati had to exempt me from the blood work testing, and he did the rest of the medical procedures requested prior to surgery and he charged me $662.00 and I saved only $38 from the $700.00 quotation Lisa Greene stated.

  5. I do not recommend going here.

I’ve been to Dr. Enayati’s office twice for pre-op work. The first time I actually saw Dr. Enayati. The 2nd time I only saw the PA. I asked to get a copy of my records after the 2nd visit and was very disheartened to see that they put down erroneous information about a general exam that they never did.

Sadly I think they just try and get people in/out quickly and just put down some BS about my eyes, ears, lungs etc…and never once did they exam any of that.

I called and left a message for Dr. Enayati to discuss this and only got a response from the PA. I emailed him but never heard back. I think this is all very inappropriate for a medical office. I do not recommend going here.
