I went to Dr. Chen M C for chronic sinusitis – something I’ve had for decades that is a bit annoying, but not really a problem beyond that.
I’d ruled out allergies at a good allergy doc the week before going to see Dr. Chen.
After a CT scan and a camera probe up my sinuses (both expensive), and a fairly pointless round of antibiotics, he started recommending very invasive surgery of my upper sinuses.
He was high pressure about the surgery, I felt like I was talking to a salesman.
I didn’t think it was worth the pain and risk of surgery. I also ran this scenario by my primary care doctor, who thought surgery would be high risk with low chances of fixing the problem.
Be wary of over-treatment (and huge bills) if you go here.
