Dr. Alan Goldsobel
Behavior Was Completely UnprofessionalI do not recommend Dr. Alan Goldsobel at all unless you want a doctor who has no respect for you or your time.
My appointment for my 1 year old son was at 8 am so I arrived at 7:50 am for paperwork.
Getting out of the house in the morning after breakfast and dropping off a 3 year old sibling prior to an 8 am appointment can be quite challenging while taking time off from work.
I had to wait until 8:40 am for the doctor to even show up! I spoke to the nurses and it is a chronic problem for him.
I was even told by 1 obviously unpopular nurse that it was “policy” and I couldn’t allow my son to walk a carpeted hallway while waiting.
The nurses have mentioned his tardiness to him numerous times and they encouraged me to say something so I did.
Upon his arrival, I told him that I didn’t appreciate the fact that he didn’t value my time.
He told me that “our visit wasn’t going to work out” and suggested that I leave.
I nearly had to beg him to treat my son because I didn’t want to waste another morning coming back to a different doctor within the practice after waiting so long.
He then asked me if I had ever been late before which I thought was uncalled for.
Anyway, the nurses were ecstatic that I said something and one nurse stated that the doctor doesn’t even like cell phone calls asking for updates on his arrival time.
I thought his behavior was completely unprofessional. We will never visit Dr. Goldsobel EVER Again.
