what IS covered and and what is NOT covered under my policy.

I have had a terrible experience with David Seidel who is an insurance agent. I was a State Farm customer in GA and therefore simply transferred my policy to VA; however, I’m surely regretting that choice. I have had terrible customer service issues with this agent and have continued to receive false information from his staff.

I am currently only using State Farm to insure my condo – twice my mortgage company has sent checks to David at State Farm (following the directions in the invoice) and David’s team has lost the check – resulting in State Farm threatening to cancel my policy due to a late payment.

In addition, his staff has now provided me with conflicting information on multiple occasions (specifically what IS covered and and what is NOT covered under my policy). Working with his agency has been a true nightmare and I can only imagine how terrible it would be if I had to actually process a claim.

  1. David Seidel - State Farm Insurance Agent Is Scam

    one drunk driver hit my car months ago, he had state farm insurance and then an inspector ( from state farm insurance) came and he told me we have to pay around $800 to you, but they send $300 as a check to my address !!!

    I called them more than 20 times in past 5 months to follow my file but they are not responsible and finally I have to pay from my pocket to fix my car.

      I am very sorry for your claims experience. I am sure what the delay was working with the insurance company of the person that hit you and is a very frustrating process. I do want to say that no claims are handled from my small business here in Arlington so this review should be directed to State Farm Corporate. They should of explained to you from the $800 they were to send you that you would be subject to your deductible and is the reason it was $500. This is all Insurance companies process not only State Farm, however when State Farm recovers the money from the other insurance company they will send you the deductible back in full. The frustrating part again is that it can take up to a year to get that money back and please contact me if you want an update on where it may be in the process.

    Great rates and service. I was very happy with the way I was treated and I am recommending them to my friends. Aleyla and Wendy were very helpful and the agent was nice enough to follow up with me and make sure I was satisfied.

  3. Extremely poor customer service.

    Extremely poor customer service. His assistant gave incorrect information regarding a policy. When I found out and called David, his response was basically “oh well.” Once they have your money they don’t care any more.

    I strongly recommend using a different agent! I have since moved on to a much better agent.

    Truly above and beyond service! Everyone I’ve ever dealt with in the office has been kind and attentive, however most of my experience has been with Wendy Garcia and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

    She is very responsive and always gracious and helpful. My wife and I were adding an additional car and the amount of patience and help Wendy gave us was outstanding. Top notch customer care!
