My wife had her purse stolen in an auto breakin.

She called and reported the BBVA debit card loss while standing in the parking lot waiting for the police…a new card with a different number is being sent.

6 days later she received an alert that a check had been cashed for $1400.

The check book was not in her purse so this was not possible.

A drive through teller at this branch with only my wifes driver’s license .

Gave the thieves her account number, a blank voucher/check, and allowed them to drive away with $1400 of our money.

They apologized and have now frozen the account…..no police report from this branch.
As soon as I can I am pulling ALL business from this bank.
