Credit Union of Denver

They Turned Into Quite A Big Joke

I have been a member of Credit Union of Denver for 12 maybe more years. I don’t ask for much just that they keep my money safe and these days help my husband and I get our credit back on track.

The first one they do okay with but they don’t know much about helping where it is needed. I have a credit card with them.

I was late with one payment on that because my husband lost his job a few years ago when T-Maybe did a mass layoff.

He was lucky enough that he then got to go get educated.

Now that we are doing well and just trying to get our credit back on track we find we can’t rely on our long time credit union.

They turned into quite a big joke. Their web site talks about let us help you with whatever life throws at you. Not true.

You can take out one loan and maybe have a credit card but don’t miss or be late on any payments or they will mail you to the cross.

  1. Scammer

I complained to a Supervisor at the Credit Union of Denver that I was never told that it was an advance on my Visa card. She told me the person who helped me was new and did several things wrong and that I could write a letter explaining that I was not told it was an advance, which their procedure says they were supposed to tell me.

I wrote the letter; they gave me $100 but I was still out over $200 because their own employee did not follow their own procedure. Then, when told of this mistake, which they agreed had happened, they did not do the right thing for their customer (me)and refund the whole amount that I was out.

  2. THEY MAY VERY WELL CHEAT YOU OUT OF SOME OF YOUR MONEY.

i got a car loan from the Credit Union of Denver through the car dealership. It was just a short term loan– a month later I was ready to pay it off. I called their main phone number at 303-239-1150 and talked to a person about paying off my loan and that I would charge it to my Visa credit card (which is with Wells Fargo and which I would immediately pay off). The balance of my loan was a little over $8000.00.

  3. I do not recommend them at all!

In my opinion, this is one of the worst banks out there! Long lines that take forever! Rude employees! I do not recommend them at all!
