Christine Donahue is according to LinkedIn a Senior Client Relations manager at Christie’s New York, she’s also one of the most obnoxious individuals you can possibly exchange messages to.
She purchased Van Cleef Alhambra lookalike earrings my etsy store. After it was delivered she had attempted to scam me by claiming that she did not receive the item (even though according to my tracking on EMS China, it was received). Her reasoning for it not being delivered was that the tracking number I provided her was not valid on the USPS website (I gave her a tracking number only valid on EMS China, USPS sometimes changes the tracking when it arrived to the country).
I kept explaining to her that her item was delivered and she should check reception. She told me it was impossible for her apartments to lose her items because it was supposedly a ‘luxury’ condo and her doorman and concierge can’t lose it and she again quoted that the USPS website did not say it was delivered. After showing her a screencap of the delivery receipt on USPS, she finally shut up.
Lesson from the story? She’s an obnoxious cow and a scammer. She thinks just because she lives in some stupid ‘luxury apartment’ (which she can only afford 1 bedroom in) that she’s better than everyone and entitled. I have attached the whole conversation.
