Cherry Creek Mortgage

Poor Customer Service

Cherry Creek Mortgage was our original mortgage lender for our property in AZ.

We re-fi’d last year and now that we are selling the property and trying to close, we find out that Cherry Creek never released the deed.

Gee thanks. Now, one would think that when we call them to request a rush, we not only got a “no” cannot do that, but we also got the run around.

Not sure if the employees there understand what customer service is, but I can tell you that had one of them been in our situation they probably would not appreciate it.

Only after my wife spent time finding a front office executive that we got some attention.

The case was assigned to someone for research and resolution.

This person assured everyone that the docs would be FedEx’d and in the closing title company hands today….not.

A call to the responsible party and low and behold, she is off and not back till Tuesday after President’s Day.

We are supposed to close today and the buyer is freaking out. S

tay clear of this company and their extremely poor customer service.

I do not understand how a company could groom / hire staff that really do not care if it does not impact them.

  1. will recommend working with Scott to anyone who asks.

I was referred to Scott Searls from a family member. Scott has been amazing to work with. This is not my first home buying experience, but by far the best. Not only did Scott go out of his way to accommodate my busy schedule, he also took the time to provide me with knowledge that no other mortgage professional has ever bothered to discuss previously.

I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process. At a week before closing, everything was prepared, and the only thing left was to simply wait for the day. I am so grateful for the recommendation, and will recommend working with Scott to anyone who asks.

  2. I first got my FHA loan through Arthur Brown in and he was great.

I first got my FHA loan through Arthur Brown in and he was great. I just went through my refinance process and it was definitely a MUCH bigger challenge. I worked with Kelli Githens and while she was very nice she did not communicate well or very frequently. I always had to track her down and ask where we were in the process and what was going on, as she never kept me updated/informed.

Once we finally went to underwriting the same thing happened with that dept. I was constantly calling/emailing to figure out where we stood. Even the morning of closing I was still calling asking “Are we closing today?

What time? Where at?” as nobody ever informed me of what was going on! In all, I’m sure the company is good, but the customer service and client communication is absolutely lacking!
