Chase Bank

This has been more painful than dealing with

I’ve been a Chase Bank customer for over a decade and have done all of my banking and opened a number of credit cards with Chase Bank.

During that time, I have experienced nothing but excellent customer service…until I came to this branch. I recently was married and changed my name.

I brought in my passport and marriage license and the banker (a woman) helping me “wasn’t sure it would work”.

Um, what other identification could I provide? Besides not being friendly, she also refused to update my credit cards…which are all through Chase.

I have spent over 2 hours on the phone because she failed to submit the proper paperwork for my credit cards because it “would just be easier for me to call”.

Now I have to go back INTO the branch so that I can re-submit the same paperwork so I can have credit cards that match my legal name.

This has been more painful than dealing with all of the various governmental entities to get new ID. Chase, I am not at all impressed.
