The WORST car service

Honestly, the WORST car service I have ever had. I am never going back to Chapman again for service. First, they forgot to tint my windows when I bought my 2018 tiguan (we paid for tinting). Then the service person couldn’t even tell if my windows had been tinted or not when I called. I had to call them multiples times before I could get an answer. And then, I took my car in for a repair for a faulty part and they had to special order the parts which in itself not a big deal.

But, Pete never bothered to call when he got the parts in and then he told me it would be a quick fix and that it would be done by 1pm. Called at 2:30 and it wasn’t done and it took me calling 5 times and angrily telling the operator to find out if my car was ready to get an answer at 5:30pm. Basically, they never call you back and they are horrible. NEVER GO HERE

  1. Chapman Volkswagen Scottsdale Bad Service.

    Refused to give approval numbers in writing over email. Said not possible to discuss terms unless I go to the dealership Quoted me off the lot price 4K higher than listing with no information on what that includes. Presumably so they could bait and switch later.

    Refused to provide the online application approval through VW their website is promoting. (Volkswagen allows this?) Harvested my information without my consent (bait and switch).

    The deal was you provide an approval or decline if I provide you my information. You took my information and are refusing to provide me with an approval or decline. This also impacts my credit rating. This is an FTC/FAIR CREDIT VIOLATION.

    This is all after being told exactly what I want. Chapman Volkswagen needs to wake up and try visiting a dealership that’s got their shit together. I’d suggest you start with Audi.

    This place is not where I want to take my vehicle. It takes too long to get anything done and they don’t answer the phone. I think they do not have enough staff to get all the work done.

  3. Service Manager" was unacceptable.

    Its apparent that they don’t have sufficient staff to handle their service department. And the attitude of the “Service Manager” was unacceptable. I regret buying a Volkswagen and having to deal with these jerks!

  4. These people went out of their way to earn a poor rating.

    It takes them a whole day to change the oil in a car and another day to change the tires! I could do it for the first time myself and it would be quicker!

    I expect the dealership to have well trained experts working for them. Not the fly-by-night sham show they have at Chapman Volkswagen.

  5. I am now a life-long loyal VW customer.

    My wife and I have purchased three vehicles from this dealership. Our salesperson Matthew Flores is an exceptionally knowledgeable and courteous sales person. I was NOT a fan of the VW brand prior to visiting this dealership the first time (I had originally inquired about a used vehicle from another manufacturer) and with the helpful information given to me by Matthew and research I have done myself,

    I am now a life-long loyal VW customer. The sales staff does an absolutely fantastic job of making you feel welcome, appreciated, and most of all not pressured. This is outstanding considering that the car sales environment is typically quite the opposite. I actually pass three different VW dealerships that are closer to my house in order to go to Chapman VW.

  6. Poor Custumer service.

    Poor Custumer service. These people are not trained to treat customers the right way. Im disappointed that I spent my Money buying a car here. Bad experience with Finance and costumer service department. Not getting license plates in 48 Days because someone lost the tittle and can’t get a permit because someone else got permits at the MVD before we owned the car. So we can’t drive our car. Unacceptable!!

  7. There were many more issues to come.

    I came back to Chapman in June to purchase a used Audi A3 that I saw on their used car list. When my boyfriend went down there to look at it (which by the way he was taken to another lot with Reza, the salesman whom we have no issue with,

    it wasn’t even on their lot yet it had multiple pictures of it posted online as though it was ready for sale), the center console was missing a lid, the horn didn’t work, there were many lights on including the check engine light, the tires were bald, the alignment was all messed up, etc. There were many more issues to come.

  8. Horrible Customer Service.

    Horrible Customer Service. Took my business to VW in Peoria and they treated me with respect. Very dishonest Staff!!!

    Gregg was by far the best salesman I have ever worked with. He was very kind and attentive throughout the process and even followed up with us after signing the lease to ensure everything was ok. He is the reason why we would choose vw chapman again in the future. Congratulations and thanks again!!! It was a pleasure doing business with you guys…
