Champion Financial Services

Really Was Unprofessional

We received a Retirement dinner invitation from this Phil Lau. He really was unprofessional about other investment options.

Before you go to his seminar read the article from the link below.

It will discuss all of the hidden fees and the things that are VERY IMPORTANT that he omits from his presentation.

His product is fixed index annuities. An example of what he does not tell you is that the insurance company has the right to change the promised rate anytime for any reason-which they done in the past.

He says show up at 6pm sharp but then is not ready for you at 6pm.

Furthermore I think he was rude by making 25 people wait 1.5 hours until 8 pm before dinner was served.

  1. she emailed me a link that lead me to the other agency's application site.

I thought I would give Champion Financial a try. Application for car title loan and personal loan are the same. I submitted the application to the cathedral city office since the one in indio had closed. I dealt with Yesenia, she was friendly, but sounded young. turns out she told me she was new with the company.

After a few days I did not hear from Champion and then i called. I was told that someone from another financial agency had called and had spoken with me and that all i had to do is to answer a few question about my address. I told Yesenia via email that I had not spoken with anyone. she emailed me that agency’s number so I called.

I spoke with a representative and told me that I was not in their system, but that if I was interested in a loan that i could fill up the application. I said no thank you and emailed Yesenia. I wrote that I was not going to start over again and that if Champion wanted to do business with me that we should proceed and if not to throw away my application. she emailed me a link that lead me to the other agency’s application site.

Seems to me that Champion Financial only collects information and sells it to other company’s. I will be contacting our local better business bureau and the city of cathedral city informing them of the misleading and false advertising.
