Caro & Associates

Buyer beware! If I could give Caro & Associates zero stars, I would do so. Jose Caro and his assistant badly mishandled the bookkeeping and a WA State employment audit for my small business. They were lousy communicators and frequently dropped the ball on important matters.

They also overcharged us several times and it was quite a fight to get our money reimbursed (in fact, we never did get back all we should have, but decided it wasn’t worth the trouble to keep engaging with them).

By the time I fired them after eight months, I was at a loss as to whether I was dealing with a crooked operation or simply an inept one. Or perhaps they were just far less experienced than they purported to be. What I did know was that I was vastly relieved to be done with them.
