Canvas Credit Union – Highlan...

Refused To Answer Me

When I opened a checking account In Canvas Credit Union – Highlands Ranch Branch I was promised reimbursement for checks that cost $20.40 if I signed up for direct deposit.

I then signed up for direct deposit, had proof of funds that were directly deposited and the Branch Manager Fernando Mandujano refused to reimburse me the $20.40 and when I asked him why he refused to answer me.

Ironically my wife was reimbursed with no questions asked.

It was the worst banking experience of my life banking at Public Service Credit Union and I would never recommend this credit union.

We decided to get our mortgage through Public Service Credit Union seeing as we have other business there. Our Mortgage Lender (Chad Schauer) couldn’t have made it a better experience if he tried. Instead of having to complete a loan application online (which most mortgage companies require now),

I was able to go to his office and answer the questions in person, which made the process quite painless! He was very kind, knowledgeable, and even gave me ideas how to structure the loan. I don’t plan on getting another mortgage loan for awhile, but I do plan on referring business to Chad because he did everything he could to make it a positive experience!

  2. This Place is Scammer

We can help you fix your credit score, too (for a fee, of course). Better to keep your money in a metal box under a floorboard or buried in the yard. This CU won’t give you any interest anyway. Most workers are very nice even though temporary (because they are nice?), but the manager can’t be trusted.

  3. Don't trust this CU

Don’t trust this CU – it claims to have no fees (unlike the “big” banks) and promises no hidden fees when you sign up. But then they’ve got you and how quickly the story changes. $12.00 ATM card fee annually, $3.00 “change your pin number” fee (what?),

plus many many other hidden fees, like “taking your change” fee and “you don’t have an 800 credit score” fee or “no direct deposit” monthly fee or “it’s Tuesday” fee. Oh, gee, did we forget to tell you that? Sorry, silly us. W

  4. Oh I am sorry Canvas...

The Debit Cards were also horribly designed and fell apart with in 3-5 weeks and when I requested a new card they had no problem charging me a $5 fee to get a new one. Long story short I hate this credit union so do my family members. If we haven’t all left already we are doing our best to get out from underneath the orange trap.

I personally recommend Security Service Federal Credit Union and JPMorgan Chase. To put this in better perspective I was with Wells Fargo at the same time as Public Service Credit Union and got $250 stolen from me there. Still would rather do business with Wells Fargo than Public Service. Oh I am sorry Canvas….

  5. The Worst Comapny

Canvas Credit Union… Really??? This right here is a prime example of why you lost my business. The fact that you have rebranded the entire credit union and didn’t even decide to ask for a vote or see what people’s opinions were before hand. I got an email that stated the name change and you said that all of your building will have the new logo and name by August.

Uh fell late on that by 4 months. The quality of service and help that I got was compliantly unacceptable when I turned in my notice to close accounts by. I never got a phone call the accounts were just closed and balance checks were sent via mail.
