Brookwood Internists
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.I Saw Dr. Ivker in July for a check up and we discussed a heart murmur I had. He suggested strongly that I have an echocardiogram done. On July 30th I went in to his office and had the procedure done. I was told that a heart specialist would review it and send the results to Dr. Ivker’s office. Someone then would contact me and go over the results. After not hearing from anybody I contacted the office and a young lady read the results to me (mis-pronouncing many words). I did catch the phrase 50% blockage and asked what all of that meant she replied “I don’t know”. I said well I don’t either an she said she would have a nurse call me and go over the results with me. I have called every day since with promises of a call back that has yet to happen. Today I call and Jill tells me to get the results I have to make an appointment. I asked why I was not told that from the start and she had no answer. I asked to speak to Dr. Ivker and she say ” to talk to the Dr. you have to make an appointment. The Dr. does not make phone calls”. What kind of patient service is this? The worst I have ever experienced. I agree with all of the other reviews, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I went to Brookwood Internists today for a Wellness visit.
I went to Brookwood Internists today for a Wellness visit. I was charged a copay as I was leaving and explained it was a Wellness visit. I was told although I had been Dr. Sheperd’s patient for several years at the old practice, I was considered a new patient at this present group. I had to be considered a New Patient and it was filed as a regular visit. I could not use my Wellness visit, although the girl who made my appointment, the receptionist and the nurse all knew this was to be a Wellness visit.
I asked to speak with the doctor, but I was told he was too busy and he notated in my chart I complained of fatigue, therefore I had to be charged as such. The only thing discussed with the doctor was a trip he took to Yosemite National Park. He asked me what I was there for and I told him just a physical. The last time I saw my doctor was 2010 and with things like this it makes me not want to see a doctor ever again.
I agree with all of the other reviews, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
