I will never purchase from Bob’s Discount Furniture again! I purchased a dinette set online that was delivered and assembled with defective pieces. Bob’s offered to deliver a replacement piece and the piece they delivered was more damaged than the piece I already had, so they set up a 3rd delivery to attempt to fix the problem.
I called customer service and asked them for a refund and to pick up their furniture (which still has the plastic on it). Sorry, they only offer exchanges or store credit. Ridiculous! How are you going to force a customer to spend money in your store for more substandard merchandise?
Clearly this policy is in place for a reason. Sell you defective merchandise and then only offer you store credit or replacement. This way Bob’s ALWAYS wins and the customer ALWAYS loses! Horrible policy and horrible merchandise and horrible customer service!
