My company was having some trouble with the tax deductions and we wanted an expert to handle the problem. I called Blue Tax and got their information from internet. I did not bother to check their review and called them directly. Blue Tax’s representative seemed pushy and too hasty. It was a great turn off for me. I found it suspicious and a bit uncomfortable.
He was asking me to pay for an expensive package that I did not require and was giving me tips about how important it was to take care of the tax problems and how much I could save my letting them do the job. It was a marketing stunt. I am running a marketing firm and very well aware of the way this market works. Those who are too aggressive, mostly are too much in need to clients.
To be polite, I said that I would sleep on it. I was trying to be polite. I knew I was never going to call a company filled with such pushy representatives. I was irritated with the way he was bullying me to make the payment. Only after 5 minutes, this guy mailed me on my email address that he had asked me before starting to impart all those important details. I should have never given him my details. Anyway, he mailed me calling me sissy and loser for not caring about the financial decision at the earliest and instead of sleeping on it.
This sales technique that he thought would work on me, failed at every level possible. I was confirmed that I was never going to deal with them. So, I mailed him back requesting not to mail again. I also wrote that I would not be working with him for my tax problems.
I received a reply stating that I was pathetic, and abused me for making excuses. He called me irresponsible and other things. I would not consider it as a marketing manoeuvre, but disrespectful. I have never been insulted the way he did. If he calls this a hiring process, I would consider it as rude and unacceptable. If this is the way you treat your clients for paying you, you can better get yourself checked. You are actually bullying them.
This company is unprofessional and does not care about client’s profit. The way that representative was being pushy and aggressive, it suggests that the company was looking to make money. That was the only goal which I felt while talking to that guy.
I would suggest everyone to stay away from Blue Tax. That guy, after repeated request, did not stop mailing me, every now and then. Later, I realized that those were not personal mails, however, bulk mails. He was into bulk marketing and was sending me mail, by default that he was sending to all email ids. Hence, this was my worst experience.
If you wish to stay away from these marketing strategies, do not share any detail with Blue Tax.
