First of all, movers were almost a full hour late on a move I booked more than a week in advance. For a two bedroom apartment with a lot of stuff (and me helping) it took them 8 hours to move my stuff 5 miles. I have never seen such slow movers. One movers was a fluent English speaker and the other mover was a Russian speaker who spoke almost no English. Comedy of errors watching them miscommunicate trying to move furniture. And the damage they did to both my landlords house and to my belongings was unforgivable. Scratched off drywall, scratched wood and paint off of two doors and broke one framed picture. Of my belongings, they damaged a 5 month old premium leather sectional couch (torn leather), broke a tanning bed and scraped over the suede lining of the Temper Pedic bed box spring. They also broke a wall mirror and didn’t tell me about it until I noticed it was missing the next day while unpacking. The owner (Sergi) was very argumentative about my grievances. He claimed I was partially at fault because I had to assist the communication challenged movers (who had already done the damage on the couch). The discount he offered for my troubles was NOT nearly enough. Sergi said: “you have too much heavy stuff, you should respect job movers do”….really Sergi?? Moving is your job sir. This move should have taken no more than 5 hours. Get movers who are a little more physically able to move stuff. That’s their job. And I have never seen this much damage done to my personal belongings from a “professional moving company”. To top it off, they left several things at my old apartment. And tried to leave without setting up the things they took about at the old residence. Even after they left I had to set up the sectional couch again because they did not do it correctly. In my opinion, Sergi is not a very forthcoming and honest business man. His customer service skills are severely lacking. Be warned. Go with a more reputable company. I wish I have two more arms so I could give Bespoke Moving 4 thumbs down!!
