Bellco Credit Union - Cherry Creek is awful!

Bellco Credit Union – Cherry Creek is awful! I moved my auto loan there almost 2 years ago and they have to be the most incompetent, least knowledgeable, and least friend credit union I have ever done business with.

On more than one occasion I’ve had extra car payments taken out while simultaneously receiving letters for default in the mail.

Most recently (today) I had a payment come out that was supposed to be deferred due to my car being stolen.

Becayse of my issues in the past I called to ensure that it was not coming out, i was guaranteed. Wrong.

I called Bellco, was never apologized to, they had to “research” and would get back to me, the bankers name in the credit/deferment department was Marlon and he was more than rude.

2 hours later, i call Marlon back after not hearing anything to be told the money was back in my account.

As I leave to go to the bank 10 min, i receive a call from Marlon stating it was not deposited into my account and i had to speak to a manager, without an apology, he interrupted me only to send me to a vm. I never received a call back.

I’m looking to move my loan ASAP

  1. Highly unprofessional!

    Bellco has been very difficult to work with. They were very disorganized. Paperwork was misdirected, or worse, lost! One hand doesn’t seem to know what they other is doing. My phone calls were not returned, and emails went unanswered. I can not recommend this credit union to anyone. If I did my job the way they conduct business, I would be unemployed. Highly unprofessional!

    horrible company. they refuse to return phone calls, will destroy your finances. listed late payments in error, promised to remove and now 9 months later im still dealing with it

  3. I will be contacting my attorney in the next seven days if the lien has still not been released.

    I have had to call this bank weekly to check the status on the release of their lien and every time I call i get the run around! It has now been over 6 weeks and the DMV still shows the lien on the title! One time when I called the bank they said that the lien has not been released because no one told them to do so,

    even though an external bank send a payoff check with instructions to release the title to me, the new owner. I have contacted the State of Colorado Department of Banking and filed a formal complaint. This bank is holding titles and assets hostage.

    Do not ever buy a vehicle with a lien on it from this bank, it is not worth it! I will be contacting my attorney in the next seven days if the lien has still not been released.

  4. BELLCO, I JUST WANT TO PAY MY BILL LIKE THE REST OF THE MODERN WORLD.

    So very frustrating. I took an auto loan out 8 months ago, not knowing how they conduct their payment plan. As it turns out you must call them every month to make this payment, that is unless you open a checking account with them as that’s the only way they accept a payment. Every month it’s the same routine, typically a 15 – 25 minute phone call once you get through the prompts and wait your turn. Then it’s the same answer to my age old question…

    “I’m sorry sir, we’re having technical difficulties with our online and mobile app”. So once you’re explained this the arduous method of listening to how they report to credit bureau’s (even though I pay at least a week early) and half the time you’re dealing with a trainee who’s being fed instructions. BELLCO, I JUST WANT TO PAY MY BILL LIKE THE REST OF THE MODERN WORLD.

    This credit union is the worst. Making up bullshit late fees for 13cents that was paid back in June but not say anything nor call or send mail. This credit union is a joke. I have one payment let to pay off my car and they are making it the biggest pain in the ass!

    I will never recommend this place to anyone ever!!! If I could give it negative stars I would! Never had so many problems when trying to pay something until I started using this joke of a credit union. I’d take being in the hunger games over dealing with this shit!
