The unprofessional nature of the front desk

I really wanted to like Autumn Road Family Practice because I really do like my Doctor; however, the staff including the financial department is the entire reason I am leaving and am unable to recommend them.

The staff (scheduling and front desk) are simple ok. The front desk is nice but not the most professional.

Once you are with your nurse and your Doctor then you are good to go.

In regard to the Financial Department, here is where they are highly un professional and they refuse to return communication.

I have made several attempts to get in touch with the personnel and have yet to have anyone return my call.

I have left three messages. Finally, I tried to reach Sandy Taylor, the Clinic Administrator, and now I see why everyone else under her is the way they are.

She herself refuses to return communication.

If you choose to be seen here be prepared for the log wait, the unprofessional nature of the front desk, and worst of all the Financial Department.

  1. Will never go back to this place.

    Will never go back to this place. I absolutely love Dr. Pounders but the billing is bs. It is almost impossible to get ahold of anyone and They charged 2 visits as specialty visits witch is a $40 copay per vist.

    That makes my total $80. Now this was just lab work and a routine visit. I called and talked to the billing supervisor a few months back, which by the way took almost 2 weeks to get ahold of someone and she told me,

    all I owed was $20. As the one visit was lab work, there is no copay. And the other was not a specialty visit, I got one bill saying I owed $20. The rest are back to $80. Now I’m being sent to collections for $80. I will gladly pay what I owe but I WILL NOT PAY MORE THEN WHAT IS OWED. This isn’t the 1st time I’ve had issues with billing, but it will be the last.
