Aurora Financial Services
IDIOT!Aurora Financial Services was the first company I found when I searched for tax preparation firms in Aurora. It’s straightforward, and it works the same way as anyone else.
I explained my situation to the business and asked them to help me with my 2015/2016 and 2017 taxes.
The owner’s obnoxious judgmental response comes without calling him to discuss my tax situation or sending any qualifying emails, texts, or other information.
This is precisely what BILL HOUSTON, the owner, said in an email back to me:
“From Bill Houston [mailto:[email protected]]

Subject: RE: NOTIFICATION Customer has completed the Quote Form.
He wants to subtract repairs to his house before he sells. How much do you think this guy is willing to wager that he had no renters in 2017?
Although it might seem a little cynical,
Oh, and moving expenses without any wage income.”
What’s the point of reaching out to a supposed professional business to serve as Judge and Jury for your financial tax situation? They haven’t even bothered to verify one fact you requested.
B.S. I consider B.S.
AVOID HIM AND ALL HIS BUSINESS. After all, you would be sharing your most private financial records details with him. And look at how he responds BEFORE even talking to you… irrefutably foolish!
It is not necessary to apologize for this response. Customers who reach out to businesses like this shouldn’t have to babysit the owners for being so rude and careless in the first instance ?…. RIGHT!
I am done. Next!
IDIOT! He doesn’t address me, the person that emailed him. He is talking to something or “the air.”
