Anchorage Women’s Clinic
This clinic does not care about personal tradeI had an appointment scheduled Anchorage Women’s Clinic on 7/12/27 at 7:50 in the morning. I live on the South end of town and due to construction on the Seward Highway and on UAA Drive (let’s not forget about parking and the elevator ride one must take to get to the clinic).
I was 7 minutes late and they refused to see me because I exceeded their 5 minute late policy! We live in Alaska, the elements and construction happen!
I know that a clinic is supposed to bill at the 15 minute mark so they could have seen me!
They said it’s because I only had a 30 minute appointment and I was too far into my appointment time for them to provide and services to me!
I was not told that I only had 30 minutes with a provider when I scheduled this appointment and I know that a provider was not even going to spend 30 minutes with me.
I’m sure they wouldn’t have even taken my back until 8am anyways so it made no sense to reschedule me.
I was not even 10 minutes late. If I was significantly late I would understand the reason to need to reschedule me but 7 minutes is nothing!
I have been a client for years there, Dr. McCrery and Dr. Gibbs are amazing doctors!
Dr.Tomen who is one of the owners of that clinic even delivered me 29 years ago and I get treated like this!
It’s very sad to say that I need to find another clinic to go to because obviously this clinic does not care about personal trade or relationship building with clients!
