Amerifi Refinance
HUGE Mistake
Listening to Amerifi Refinance was a HUGE mistake. I started working with them in April.
At the time we were paying our bills, but the amount of our debit was getting out of hand.
They suggested that they could save us a ton of money on our mortgage, which would allow us to get our debit under control.
We provided them all of our personal details, and they reviewed it, and sent over an agreement stating how much money they would charge – and how much we would save in the long run.
We agreed to terms. We decided to take their advice, and they suggested that we stop payment on our mortgage to make the process faster / easier. We did.
After not paying the mortgage for 3 months, they submitted paperwork to the bank – and on the first rejection, refunded our money and told us there was nothing more they could do.
Great, we got our money back, but our credit was screwed.
We had used the mortgage payments to reduce our credit card debit, but when the credit card companies saw we were behind on mortgage payments, they reduced our credit lines and increased our interest rate.
We fell further behind than we were when we started. We were FAR worse for having listened to Amerifi. Don’t make this mistake.

4 Times I personally tried to work with my lender to modify our absurd interest only loan on a property that had significantly dropped in value and 4 times the lender denied our applications. We decided to give it one last shot and hired Michael Rockman, Roger Mansourian, and their respective Amerifi team of experts to represent and speak on our behalf.
Everyone we worked with was eager to help and went above and beyond to guide us through the process. In the end Amerifi blew away our expectations and negotiated an extremely favorable modification saving us thousands in the short and long term. I can’t thank these guys enough for saving our HOME!!
