American Lending, Inc

Loan Service

This man made promises to us that he would have our loan closed quickly, and we made plans around his promises.

He alsto assured us that he had strong investors, who ended up pulling out of the transaction at the last minute, which caused us even furhter delay, which we had to pay for in our real estate transaction.

When we started to realize that we were being strung along, and that he was making promises he could not fulfill, we confronted him on it.

He never took responsibility for any of it. He did everything from trying to accuse our realtor of working against us, to telling us we were a third party to the loan (Never mind us being the ones to contact him in the first place, as well as pay for his exorbitant broker commision.)

Do yourself a favor, and find someone honest, and willing to treat you with a shred of dignity. This man does not deserve your money.

  1. It is gratifying to work with a lender dedicated to doing their job well.

It is gratifying to work with a lender dedicated to doing their job well. Your efforts are sincerely appreciated. From the Account Exec., Processing Team, Underwriting Team, QC Team, and National Account Executive; American Lending never quit and remain calm under pressure with Cat 4 Hurricane headed to Florida in the midst of closing.

Our core belief is never point fingers, just get the deal closed, and that is exactly what American Lending and their team did. I’m looking forward to building a relationship that last and close more deals. If OHMStar Lending or I can serve American Lending in any way, please don’t hesitate to call. Thank You for all of your hard work.

  2. Great people with a way to make you feel comfortable.

If you need a profestional and friendly bunch, visit this staff. Great people with a way to make you feel comfortable.

  3. It's not worth it. we all learned the hard way.

These guys are conman. They’ll promise you the world, they’ll even issue you a “loan approval” but what they are most infamous for is declining loans after they “approve them” and even worst They Decline You even after you loan Is Approved AND Final loan documents are in escrow.

These people are shady. Pretty scary stuff. But here comes the twist. Expect one if their sleezy conman to hit you up after they throw you dream of home ownership down the drain to tell you how still qualify for the same reason they already declined you for. Don’t waste to your time people. These people are unprofessional, It’s not worth it. we all learned the hard way.

  4. By far the worst experience EVER.

By far the worst experience EVER. My house was sold under false pretense and many amenities it claimed to have NOT even installed. So much for move-in ready. And good look getting ANYONE to call you back.

NO AC installed, no water line, Kitchen cabinets collapsed… yes fell off and collapse. and a plethora of other issues.

When you call they have NO problem hanging up on you – their deal is the blame game and pointing fingers at others.

  5. I guess he doesn't like people from NY, they have an attitude.

They qualified for a loan and then kept changing the settlement date. Finally after 3 months the seller said enough. I lost my money.

They fired my loan officer and never thought to call me. I had a closing scheduled in 1 week. The owner/mgr said “I don’t care if you lose your money”.

He said I am not doing your loan because you have an attitude. He asked me where I was from. Can you believe that. And he is the foreigner not me. I guess he doesn’t like people from NY, they have an attitude.

  6. These folks should be an advocate for their clients. They are not. They suck.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This company was recommended but I don’t know why. The basic story is this. I needed a loan closed in 30 days. I completed the application. For the next 3 weeks, I was asked to submit ALL SORTS of documents.

The week we were to close escrow, I was asked to complete the employment verification. As it turns out, I didn’t qualify for their loan because they require 2 years of employment. I had 1 year, 11 months and 2 weeks. Apparently, there was also a salary requirement, and the fact that I now make significantly less in my current job than in my previous job, I did not meet the requirement.

The “underwriter” also disappeared the two days before the original closing date and was unresponsive to inquiries. I found out 2 days AFTER the original close date that I would be denied the loan because of this. When I called to clarify the situation, I asked why would they wait until the very last week, after requesting tax returns, bank statements, letters, etc., to verify my employment. She blamed it on the “underwriter”.

I still don’t understand why you would wait until the last minute to verify employment. That should be one of the first things to be done. Had I known from the beginning of the 3 requirements (6 months current job, at least 24 months on previous job, and comparable salary),

I wouldn’t have applied in the first place! In the end, we didn’t close and unfortunately, the sellers moved on. I would NEVER recommend this company to ANYONE. These folks should be an advocate for their clients. They are not. They suck.

  7. I still have not heard back from anyone.

They will continue to spam you with emails and solicitations about the supposed great products that they offer. After multiple attempts at contacting them to get more information, I still have not heard back from anyone.

  8. I have changed my name and address to protect my identity.

Before: BEWARE and STAY AWAY! I am now researching online about this company in CA because of the trouble I am encountering as I am selling my house and having to deal with this out of state loan company that I wish I had never encountered.

The potential buyer of my house has apparently chosen this out of state company for his loan. This company has repeatedly failed to answer emails and phone calls asking for updates on his loan’s progress. His 3rd scheduled closing date is only hours away and it appears now they want another extension.

My Buyer is already been approved for his loan, yet the appraisal and other items have not been ordered! As a Seller of a home – I recommend to buyers, DO NOT take out a loan with this company. To Sellers, I recommend you DO NOT ACCEPT AN OFFER FROM ANY BUYER USING THIS LENDING COMPANY as you will lose time and money attempting to sell your house. You will be lucky if you even see a closing date.

Shame on this company for not putting their customers first and ordering the needed items for closing. Shame on them for not corresponding with all interested parties. I have changed my name and address to protect my identity.
