American Home Funding

Horrible Experience

Horrible experience With American Home Funding. I hardly ever write reviews but I feel I need to warn others.

I closed on a home in September of 2011.We were originally supposed to close in the beginning of August.

My husband and I have wonderful credit and have never had a problem.

After submitting my paperwork to AHF well in advance of the closing we were told the day of closing that there was a problem.

After moving here from out of state we were in limbo for the next 4 weeks.

Derrick promised us that they would take care of everything and repay us for all the additional expenses we had to incur.

I trusted them and gave them any support I had to get the deal done. Week after week after we closed I was told that a check was on its way to us.

Excuse after excuse came up as to why we didn’t get the money they promised us.

9 months later we have yet to hear a word from anyone at AHF and of course no check has been issued.

I am extremely upset with the way we were treated and I will always refer friends and family elsewhere.
