They screwed over the wrong person.
My primary doctor was unable to see me so I came Alpine Urgent Care and Sports Medicine.Went in for edema in my legs. I have an autoimmune condition that causes this occasionally. So I wouldn’t have to go to the ER for a simple prescription for Lasix (water pill).
Came in and doctor was concerned that I may have a blood clot and referred me for an ultrasound of my legs and did blood work.
Ultrasound was clear so I called and asked if I could have them call in a prescription for the Lasix.
I was told that was something they could not prescribe and that I would have to see my primary or go to the ER.
I wish they would have told me they cannot prescribe something as simple as a water pill before I shelled out $500 for the office visit and blood work and an additional $1100 for an ultrasound just to not be treated.
Complete rip off and I will never go here again. This is why the cost of health insurance is what it is.
They have rip off artists like this that don’t actually treat you. Bye bye Alpine.
You are now losing my go to place for employee physicals. That equals to quite a bit of money for them. They screwed over the wrong person.
