They were great the first time we used them for hauling some unwanted items, but when it came to moving me from my 3 level house to a 2 level house, it didn’t go as well as I expected. The CEO/manager (Darrell) of the company was missing during most of the move. The day was long for everyone, but my husband and I had to endure hearing complaints about them wanting to be finished.
They didn’t handle my possessions with care. I even pointed out to one of the movers that he had my barely used piece of furniture on the concrete and he didn’t even respond to my concern. The furniture was wrapped in shrink wrap. But if it’s not lifted, but dragged, the thin wrap isn’t protecting it. Of course after all was said and done, we discovered more damages to other pieces as well as scratches on the floor at the house we sold and the one we purchased.
Finally, after a few attempts to reach the owner, he responds 2-3 days later. He says he doesn’t usually do follow up. I proceeded to express my concerns about the damages and he had a rebuttal for it all.
We finally agreed to meet at my home to go over everything, and again, the rebuttals. He consistently dismissed my concerns. However, during our meeting he provided funds, but it still left a bitter taste in my mouth because I discovered more damages upon unpacking.
