I came to Allegiance Bank to open up a small business account, and the gentleman helping me was still relatively new to the new business process so he went and got the branch manager which was extremely rude.
I was explaining that the state had informed me that the certificate of formation was now a document that looked like a cover letter, and that the certificate of filing was all I needed to open the account along with my EIN.
She was very curt and was like well we only open accounts for businesses that have been open 6 months and I was like I have been established for over 6 months, and she’s like great but we are the bank and the state can’t tell us what we need to open an account so if I say we need an actual certificate of formation then that’s what we need.
I have never felt more disrespected at a banking institution in my life. Don’t bank here!
